Join Takeda as a Global Medical Communications Digital Innovation and Operational Excellence Expert where you will in collaboration with the Global Medical Communications (GMC) leadership team, lead the development of a digital roadmap tailored to define Takeda’s digital vision for GMC to support both existing marketed therapies and Takeda’s expanding global pipeline. You will also create digital transformation through raising awareness of latest trends in digital technologies, and bringing in cases to support use and collaborate on the development of digital tools and new technology designed to enhance our engagement with Global Medical Communication materials. As part of the Digital Innovation team, you will report to Global Medical Communications Digital Innovation and Operational Excellence Lead and work with the Global Medical Communications group. How you will contribute: Track new digital technologies across industries, with a focus on Healthcare & Pharma Industries. Leverage proof of concept to test ideas, concepts and channels for Global Medical Communications, which may translate to channels for the rest of GMA. Develop and maintain a digital roadmap using new digital trends that align to Takeda’s digital vision for GMC. Support the design, implementation and management of diverse and inclusive high performance innovative Medical Communications & Medical Materials Review solutions, processes and standards with internal and external facing scope. Manage vendors and projects to develop and support innovation and capabilities. Work with Medical Communication Leads, Therapeutic Area Leads, Digital Leads, and Business Unit teams to help in identification of essential needs and contribute to development of strategic initiatives across all TAs. Contribute to work streams related to conceptualization, development and implementation of communication and review tools and initiatives, aiming to optimize all business. Develop a strategic digital plan and own maintenance of internal sites (e.g. SharePoint) for the Global Medical Communications team Provide expertise, guidance, consultation and support for Regional/BU and Local Operating Company (LOC) activities. What you bring to Takeda: A relevant healthcare or digital degree is required. An advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MS or RN) is preferred. 5 years (for Sr Manager) or 7 years (for Associate Director) of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry within a matrix structure 5 years of experience in a digital marketing experience from advertising agency or pharma/biotech 3 years of experience within medical affairs roles (e.g. Medical Science Liaison, Medical Information, Medical Communications, Medical Education, Publications, Research) Experience managing vendors and complex projects Knowledge of medical communication approaches and best practices Familiarity with the contemporary digital landscape of organizations and experience of best technology and process optimization practices to an organization to drive sustainable improvements in business performance Familiarity with international regulatory and legal guidelines regarding medical communication strategy and execution.
