And if you have a passion for marketing, read on to learn more about this exciting opportunity!POSITION OVERVIEWThis is a full-time role in our Sales Department, reporting to the President. For this role, you’ll need to live in or near Cincinnati, OH. Typical hours for this role are 8:00am to 5:00pm, but our schedule is very flexible and remote work is permitted. On occasion there is a need to work additional hours and weekends.MISSION The mission of the Marketing Specialist is to develop brand awareness for ARKU and generate leads and inquiries for our products and services. In this role you’ll work closely with the Sales team in Cincinnati and the Marketing team at ARKU Headquarters in Germany and coordinate all efforts in the North American market. The ideal candidate should be creative and able to coordinate a wide variety of marketing activities using a multi-channel approach.RESPONSIBILITIESThe Marketing Specialist will have the following primary responsibilities:Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.Formulate, direct or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services.Use strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products and services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints.Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.Work closely with creative teams to generate website content, graphics, print collateral and promotional materials.Create content for social media and websites.Keeping abreast of social media trends.Organizing promotional events.Planning and managing trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying coordinating and assembly requirements, developing assignments and schedules, coordinating mailing lists and establishing contacts.Communicating campaign deliverables.PROFICIENCIES Digital Marketing: The Marketing Specialist should be an expert in digital and online marketing, especially SEO and SEA. Due to the constantly changing landscape, theMarketing Specialist is expected to stay informed of new developments, the latest trends, and best practices in digital marketing. A solid knowledge of website analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google AdWords) is important.Creativity: The ideal candidate should excel in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.Communication: Top-notch communication skills are a key factor to success. The overall strategic direction is set by ARKU Headquarters, so close contact and good communication with this team is very important. The Marketing Specialist must then communicate this strategic plan to ARKU’s various partners.Organization: ARKU employs a multi-channel approach to marketing and employs many tools in its outreach.
