Job Description : | The Associate Manager, Digital Marketing will be an integral part of the E-Commerce team, with a focus on driving revenue for their brand(s) through an integrated Digital Marketing strategy that maximizes performance across all marketing channels. This individual will directly oversee the day to day execution of email and social media marketing and work in partnership with the marketing channel subject matter experts on strategies and plans for search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and other paid channels. They will also partner with the Merchandising, Creative, Finance, Customer Insights and Web Production teams. Responsibility for reporting and analytics tied to digital marketing channels will live with this position and as such analytical rigor is a must-have skill. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Grow Digital Revenue: Direct responsibility for demand, margin and ROI for digital channels including paid search, affiliates, display, and social media Own Email Optimization: In addition to overseeing the daily email marketing calendar, this individual will lead a rigorous testing agenda, executing regular A/B tests, and oversee reporting Oversee Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting: Manage digital marketing budgeting process, as well as monthly/weekly/daily forecasting and reporting for key digital marketing financial metrics. Develop quantitative and data driven business recommendations based on analysis Assist in Managing Agency Performance: In partnership with Paid Media SEM, provide guidance to the external agency for key channels including paid search, display, social media and affiliates. Review agency reports and run internal reports to monitor performance and seek improvement opportunities Assist in ad hoc Search Engine Optimization tasks: In partnership with the SEO SEM, shepherd ad-hoc projects as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field 2-3 years of related experience in digital direct response marketing, marketing effectiveness analysis or e-commerce site planning and merchandising Previous experience in digital marketing or e-commerce at a fast-paced DTC or retail company is a plus Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel including dashboard creation/formatting Strong written and verbal communication skills and team-working skills Ability to prioritize multiple objectives within a fast-paced, changing environment Aptitude to think strategically but act tactically High level of organization coupled with attention to detail Experience with Adobe Analytics/Omniture Expertise with Excel; experience with basic macros and ReportBuilder preferred Knowledge Epsilon and Custora is a plus |
