The Natural & Insurgent team is looking for a Community Manager to support social media and trends, and bring ideas to life. You’ll be the owner and champion of our Social Media communities, responsible for the day-to-day management of N&I’s social channels. This means channeling your inner RXBAR, Kashi, Bear Naked, or Pure Organic in everything you do, including content management, proactive and reactive engagement, and pinpointing the right moments for us to jump into trending conversations.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Lead – Jump right in and have your voice be heard. You’ll be behind everything, from responding to fans as Kevin (our Bear Naked mascot), to starring in TikToks yourself!
Influence – By leading our social listening and reporting, you will influence the monthly content calendars, streaming, insights, and culture.
Develop – Let’s get creative! You will be dedicated to managing our social communities and finding unique ways to engage with our followers to build brand love.
Collaborate – Team work makes the dream work and collaborating with team members to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations will put us ahead of the competition.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
2-3 years’ experience with a proven track record in community management, growing brand communities and excellent examples of real-time responses that showcase the brand voice well.
Superior communications proficiency and ability to collaborate with cross functioning teams
Ability to quickly act on trends and execute strategies for an ever-changing Social Media platform
Comfortable with making social media best practice recommendations in ambiguous environments.
Adhoc creative development, as needed (eg creating TikToks, text overlays on content). Not afraid of the camera and being the star of the show. Ability to record video and edit content at home

Bonus Points:
Agency and Brand content / social media management experience preferred
Experience as a Community Manager or maintaining a social property (i.e. blog, message board, etc) on behalf of a Brand, company, third-party, etc.
Knowledge of Social Media Management Platforms
Knowledge of social media listening tools
Knowledge of paid media planning, buying and optimization
