About the Role

FareHarbor is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to work alongside our Client Engagement and Marketing team. You will be responsible for ideating, creating, and editing marketing and educational content designed to keep FareHarbor clients up to date on the latest tools and resources from FareHarbor.

Types of content you will work on include:

Drafting and/or editing educational articles and content briefs for FareHarbor Compass, our hub of business-boosting resources.
Editing presentations for our ongoing webinars and our annual, industry-leading user conference, FareHarbor Spark.
Writing thought leadership blogs for our Fareharbor.com website.
Email marketing content from Product launch notifications to nurture campaigns to newsletters and more.
Social media copy designed to engage with potential clients, existing clients, partners and employees.
Website copy, including landing pages.

What you’ll do here:

Collaborate with Client Engagement and Marketing channel owners to help define the content marketing strategy and develop creative content ideas throughout the full content development lifecycle.
Define and create original content of various types — emails, blogs, articles, presentations, research reports, website copy, landing pages, video scripts, and social media posts.
Copy edit and provide quality control for content written by both internal and external stakeholders to ensure materials meet key objectives, support digital marketing best practices, and adhere to our brand guidelines.
Support the Company and team objectives by intimately understanding FareHarbor clients’ lifecycle, opportunities, and needs.
Stay on top of digital, marketing, travel, and tourism industry trends to inform content impact, timeliness, and relevance.
Help the CEMKT team to maximize content utility with ideas for repurposing and recycling key assets across marketing channels.
Assist channel owners with reporting and analysis regarding content performance, including using analytics to improve campaign performance.
Coordinate cross-functionally to manage internal and external resources for content creation and production, as needed.
Partner with the client engagement and customer experience teams to discover and test new content channels and amplification opportunities.
Help the team establish content creation and publication processes that drive improved productivity and quality and push our entire marketing efforts forward.

Requirements

BA/BS in marketing, creative writing, journalism, or related field.
1-3 years of relevant work experience in B2B/SaaS content marketing/copywriting.
Demonstrated experience writing both short and long form copy for social media, email marketing campaigns, blogs, and websites in a professional setting.
Exceptional communicator with excellent command of the English language capable of writing and editing clean, sharp, creative messaging aligned with brand voice.
Ability to balance writing for humans vs. writing for Google (SEO).
A balance of strong creative thinking, time management, and analytical skills. You understand the importance of deadlines and hold yourself and other contributors accountable for meeting them.
You are detail oriented, passionate about writing, and interested in growing your career in marketing.
An energetic team-player attitude. You are always willing and ready to jump in and help wherever you can.
**REQUIRED: Online portfolio of professionally produced work that demonstrates your writing abilities. Digital professional writing samples acceptable.**

Salary Range: $51,300-$57,000, plus 10% bonus potential
