This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing.Content SpecialistAbout this roleAs a Content Specialist at Apptentive, you will be responsible for driving targeted traffic, attracting qualified leads through top-of-funnel content, generating revenue through our digital channels, and increasing brand awareness through educational thought leadership. In this role, you will produce a variety of content types, including educational blog posts, research reports, videos, website copy, social copy, and more. You will assist in producing the creative and content elements needed to promote the company from both a marketing and PR perspective, and will become one of the main faces across all of Apptentive’s digital channels through your written and visual content. We are seeking someone who is passionate about great customer experiences and will find and use compelling data to back impactful content. You will partner with our design team to pair your words with visual pop. This role reports to our Director of Marketing.Key responsibilities: Assist with creation of multimedia content development for our website, blog, social media, email, video, and other platforms.Create data-backed content that shares best practices for marketing, customer experience, and mobile leaders.Execute the day-to-day content strategy, including managing an ambitious blog creation and publishing schedule.Write, schedule, and publish a steady stream of created and curated social media posts through our branded Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn channels.Work closely with the content marketing team to support the long-term content strategy, and to create messaging consistent with our brand.Work with the paid advertising team to create engaging creative for social media advertising.Provide input for email marketing layouts and creative strategy.Deeply understand our buyer personas and their content preferences, analyze results to optimize content, and continually explore various content mediums to drive more engagement.Work closely with the sales development and CS teams to ensure narrative cohesiveness and to crowdsource new content ideas.Constantly monitor competitive content to identify best practices and new areas where we can bring unique and valuable content to our digital channels.Qualities you pride yourself on: Ownership: You are integral in driving new-logo pipeline and filling the top of the funnel.
