Effective communication and cross-group collaboration skills are necessary to engage with relevant stakeholders to develop content to educate customers about products. The ideal candidate is creative and passionate about UX writing, design, and technology.What You’ll DoCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., engineering, research, design, product) to understand products/content areas/features and problems to author optimal contentWrite, shape and deliver digital content (UI, product education, navigation, etc.)Combine User Experience (UX) thinking with design executionAdvise on how to embed key concepts, names, terms, and copy which are aligned with customers’ intent and mental modelsRaise the content design bar with innovative solution strategies and experience design recommendationsCollaborate with and manage the contributions of subject matter experts to author or improve contentStrive to make content customer-focused by facilitating information sharing and incorporating changes from customer feedbackUse metrics to measure customer satisfaction and/or business impact after content is publishedWhat You Have4+ years experience working in content design, UX writing, technical writing, writing (e.g. for marketing, advertising, e-commerce)3+ years hands-on experience writing content for consumer-facing web sitesExcellent writing skills and prior experience of interacting with program/product managers, and other technical writers to plan and deliver clear, easy-to-understand technical documentationKnowledge of trends in the user assistance, training, or content publishing industryTechnical training, and/or instructional design knowledge or experience highly valuedPrime 8 is a highly respected, woman-owned management consulting firm.
