| Job Description : | Digital Content Specialist General Summary Anchor Construction Corporation has an immediate opening for a six (6) month Contract Digital Content Specialist with relevant experience working within a 400+ employee organization. Anchor Construction is experiencing significant growth and as a Business Development and Marketing Team, we are modernizing and delivering services in new and creative ways to match this growth. This position is in Lanham, Maryland, and reports to the Marketing & Digital Content Manager. Successful candidate will be a key member of a high-performing team. Must have a proven track record of success with creating, implementing, and reporting on social media campaigns. Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of social media and digital content strategy. Create and post engaging content to social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and corporate Web site. Design graphics as needed for social media and digital platforms. Assist with data entry to maintain Anchor CRM. Analyze and report metrics. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of professional relevant work experience. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and engaging content. Strong verbal and written communications skills (AP Style). Experience with social media management and analytics tools. CRM experience required. Photography and videography experience preferred. Utility/infrastructure experience a plus. Education Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, journalism, public relations or a related field.
