Job Description : | Digital CopywriterPosition Summary: The Digital Copywriter is responsible for all overseeing all merchandising efforts with an emphasis on creating compelling organic content to help evaluate and market all pieces online. They collaborate with the digital team on marketing efforts across a variety of digital platforms. They possess the skills and capability to creatively handle various online marketing tools (website, blog, social media, etc.) to work with internal and external teams to coordinate marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns that increase visibility and engagement through deepening direct consumer interaction and relationships.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and maintain the creation of digital content to be used across all digital platforms including web, social media, and digital marketing initiativesCollaborate with Marketing Manager, Buying, E-Commerce, and Vendors to ensure brand consistency through the creation of consumer facing content to increase open rates, click thru rate, conversion rate, engagement, acquisition, and retentionStay up to date on digital media developments and trendsSupport of weekly performance reportingCoordinate with Director of E-Commerce and Creative Director on goals related to digital marketingDevelop and implement online marketing contentDevelop and maintain content related to digital blog in order to maximize exposure via social media and digital marketingBuild and research keywords and create copy using SEO best practices to implement for e- commerce optimizationCollaborate with social media team in order to utilize engaging content across social channelsOther duties as assignedQualifications: To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or related field3-4 years experience or in a similar roleSkills and Knowledge Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and writtenSelf-starter with the ability to adapt to changes and turn things around quicklyTeam player who works well with internal and external partners to develop deliverablesKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) is a plusExperience with SEO, Google AdWords, and Websites, a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain strong partnershipsAbility to communicate with all levels of the organizationWork requires a solid knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English language to effectively communicate with management, associates and customers.Proven ability to plan, organize, multi-task, set priorities effectively and efficiently to proactively respond to changing demands, from multiple sourcesResults driven with demonstrated critical and creative thinking skills.
