With an international presence our main sales channels are B2B. We also have a small online retail division focusing on properly merchandising our products on amazon in order for our products to be well represented online. As a niche industry where the customer demographic are 80% women between the ages of 18-65 years of age the bar we set for this role is high. The ideal candidate will be someone who has digitally merchandised products in the cosmetics and/or luxury apparel industryWhat You’ll DoOwn digital merchandising process, maintain accuracy, and use this as a chance to guide site merchandising.Apply strategies focused on key conversion drivers, optimal site presentation, maximizing consumer engagement and experience.Collaborate with the Demand Planning Team to stay ahead of any inventory issues.Manage and create new, promotional, and/or seasonal taxonomy.Manage site sorting rules, search term optimization, and other commerce platform-related features that help drive conversion rate and provide a best in class retail experience.Recommend site improvements, updates, and changes necessary for best-in-class merchandising.Support eCommerce Manager and identify potential enhancements or changes based on your knowledge of the category, industry trends, and customer behaviors.Work closely with eCommerce Manager and the Marketing Team to choose products to feature (home page, category pages, etc.).Collaborate with Marketing Team to ensure the sites appropriately communicate key messages, aligns with campaign creative and highlight seasonally relevant merchandise.Leverage web analytics to understand consumer interaction with site and marketing content to identify opportunities and risks for the business.Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.Sound Like You?You might be just who we’re looking for if you have…A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 5 years in an eCommerce merchandising or related roleExceptional qualitative and quantitative analytical skills necessaryExperience working with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).An expert understanding of site taxonomies, seasonal trends in merchandise, and editorializing product for the consumer view.Organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.Passion for the customer journey and experience.Competencies: Possesses critical thinking skills, supported by an understanding of web analyticsAbility to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sourcesStrong independent problem-solving skills, must be oriented toward problem resolution and improvementsAbility to work flexible hours outside of business hours to secure business needsJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Digital Merchandising: 2 years (Required)SEO: 2 years (Preferred)Copywriting: 1 year (Preferred)amazon seller: 1 year (Required)shopify: 1 year (Preferred)Big Commerce: 1 year (Preferred)Salsify PIM: 1 year (Preferred)Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
