Our university client is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist. The main duties will include developing targeted digital content and implementing digital communications strategy, working with media agency to traffic digital ads and messages for conversions, analyzing trends and reports, and managing content for digital platforms.
Candidates must be local to the Boston area and be on-site for 2 days/week.
Candidates must also be fully vaccinated (including booster).
Strong preference for candidates with STEM degree or STEM experience.
Creates wide range of digital content for social media, website, landing pages, email communications, webinars, digital marketing campaigns, and other channels as appropriate.
Under direction of the Assistant Director, identifies audiences for specific communication needs and develops plans for outreach, creates written and visual materials and engages with users to build and enhance brand experience.
Provides input into and implements digital communications and social media strategies.
Recommends ideas and plans to drive traffic to PE website to increase applications and lead generations.
Creates written and visual materials, including video that engages with users to build and enhance brand experience.
Identifies, recommends, and leverages digital and online technologies to publish communications content. Helps implement, operationalize, and maintain new technologies.
Contributes to the development, implementation, and compliance with concepts, policies, and standards for the successful operation of digital vehicles such as the website, mobile apps, and social media outlets.
Responsible for implementation and maintenance of SEO strategy and tactics, including connecting across channels.
Performs quality control checks on all work, especially any content and messaging distributed via PE channels.
As a member of the marketing team, assists with preparation for conferences and events which may occasionally be scheduled on nights and weekends.
Maintains, monitors, and optimizes social medial platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter) and related marketing strategies.
Produces and analyzes recurring and ad hoc reports and makes recommendations to make more customer-friendly, and to improve usability and effectiveness.
Provides reports on digital traffic tracking applications and stays current with trends in web, video, and emerging technologies and recommends new initiatives.
Monitors trends and developments in digital technology, communications, and makes recommendations for improvements.
Provides data and analysis on effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Helps to develop an analytical framework to track, test, and report on marketing communication effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned.

A B.A/B.S. in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience required, preferably in a corporate setting.
In-depth knowledge of Marketing, web, social media, SEO, paid campaigns; demonstrated ability to build productive and collaborative working relationships with individuals at all levels, including senior officers; experience in developing effective KPI’s for marketing campaigns; work effectively in a pressured fast-moving environment; extremely strong organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication and presentation skills; excellent customer service skills; ability to demonstrate confidentiality and good judgment.
Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Drupal, etc. Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Pardot, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop), web content management systems, and project management software; excellent writing and editing skills; and proficiency with project management, social media management software, Video editing, HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics.
