Jewett Cameron is looking for our next great Digital Marketing Specialist. This individual is responsible for the hands on daily management of all digital customer acquisition programs including paid search, advertising, social media and the influencer marketing program. They will also assist with the design, implementation, and management of our email marketing program, online advertising program, affiliate marketing, and content creation. This role will work cross functionally to accelerate growth and to drive incremental sales on the Jewett Cameron and partner websites. This position will report to the Direct to Consumer Business Director and is a key member of the Direct to Consumer team.

Responsibilities in this Role

Works with agency partners to track and measure KPIs to determine effectiveness of paid media campaigns
Create and maintain social media strategy and content calendar for all Jewett Cameron brands.
Select imagery and content, write copy, and brief creative on social media asset needs. Partner with Brand & Marketing Manager to ensure content aligns with key brand messages.
Scheduling, posting and ensuring products are properly tagged in content across social media channels.
Executes influencer and affiliate marketing strategy, including scouting and outreach, developing content briefs, managing content delivery, and overseeing terms and payment
Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns
Update social media dashboard and provide reporting on a weekly and monthly. Additional weekly and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Develop marketing creative briefs, with direction from Brand & Marketing Manager and Director of DTC, for promotions, emails, digital advertising, social media and other projects as needed.
Support ongoing management of organic and paid traffic acquisition campaigns on platforms like Google, Bing, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Integral part of creative project management process, including updating briefs, providing feedback and approving creative in partnership with Brand & Marketing Manager.
Coordinate marketing asset development and handoff for wholesale partners. Support other marketing initiatives as needed, including partnerships, sweepstakes and other marketing programs.
Recommend and help implement process and system improvements
Keep up with emerging technology, competitors and industry trends
Maintain marketing calendar and vendor relationships.

Ideal Candidate Requirements/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
2+ year’s related digital and social media marketing experience
Experience executing on paid digital marketing strategies, including promoted social media and paid search
Relevant experience in marketing, eCommerce, social media, communications, public relations or a related field of study.
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, ability to prioritize projects and be flexible in a dynamic business environment.
Creative, open-minded, and a good eye for aesthetics. Has a finger on the pulse of what’s happening culturally and understands social media marketing.
Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively use verbal and written communication to get the point across.
Strong Project Management Skills
Basic understanding of analytics platforms and ability to provide actionable recommendations.
Knowledge of MS Office, Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn), Email Marketing Software (Klaviyo, Constant Contact, Emma), Google Analytics, and Google Adwords
Self-starter with excellent problem solving skills with an aptitude for learning new systems.
Ongoing desire to stay current on the latest technologies and industry trend

Physical Requirements – Work Environment:
This role typically works in an office environment has focused computer screen time

and uses a telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.

The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Frequent interruptions may be encountered throughout the work day.
The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
