Job Description
The Digital Merchandising Manager – B2B & eCommerce is responsible for product assortment planning, merchandising and channel strategies that drive strategic growth in the eCommerce, omnichannel, MRO and Retail business channels. Bring your excellence in leading people to collaborate with sales, marketing, product data and operations; and your knowledge of established and emerging market opportunities to help lead our organization on our continued journey in digital merchandising. Our ideal candidate has a “web-first” mindset and has a proven track record of maximizing digital shelf space.
Key Accountabilities
Directly influences eCommerce/omni-channel sales through the development of short and long term merchandising strategies, digital marketing assets (banners, landing pages, etc.) and oversight of content publication
Lead strategic cross-functional workstream to create product stories messaging that differentiates Zurn products in the market through merchandising content, item relationships and positioning to deploy through customer success data team to our partners
Advocate and owner for product data fields in InRiver – product relationships, keywords, customer specific fields (Home Depot descriptions, Amazon variant description or type, etc.), variant families
Develop and maintain Enhanced Content Rubric (photos, 360s, pdfs, etc.), and their formatting requirements. Discern how we customize assets to meet the needs of top eComm customers.
Create and maintain analysis of competitive landscape and evaluate developing digital marketing trends and best practices, identifying and championing opportunities
Partner with zurn.com team to advocate for advancements on site that can be leveraged on eComm such as reviews
Ownership of the eCommerce product assortments, product and family positioning to most effectively sell our products across channels and maximize value of our digital shelf
Account Management & Growth
Identifies customer needs/ goals/ challenges and provides solutions through positioning of Zurn products, services, knowledge, and expertise
Support cross-functional team in the development of promotional calendar across eComm customers, assisting with content development tracking request delivery from marketing
Monitor Zurn’s assortment on wholesale digital platforms to ensure brand integrity and alignment
Develop and implement full-picture eComm customer KPI reporting by collaborating with cross-functional team to identify trends, growth opportunities, and measure success with customers
Additional ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
Excellent analytical, data analysis and numerical reasoning skills
Experience with PIM platform required
Strong competency in product positioning and merchandising, up-selling and cross-selling, both online and at point of sale
3+ years experience in category management, product management, product marketing or merchandising
Experience driving sales growth with wholesale B2B ecommerce partners (ex. Grainger, Fastenal, Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, etc.). Amazon Vendor Central experience strongly preferred.
Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Prior experience or knowledge of commercial plumbing products is strongly preferred
Tableau experience preferred
