Job Description : | The Email Marketing & Loyalty Specialist is responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of direct-to-consumer email marketing campaigns – everything from strategy and segmentation to design, copy, deployment, and analytics. You will launch and oversee an SMS program to further grow revenue and engagement. You will also develop and manage customer loyalty and retention programs to profitably increase retention rate and lifetime value.Responsible for managing and implementing the Direct-To-Consumer email marketing & SMS programs (Mail Order + Retail Departments)a. Develop the overall email strategy for both Mail Order and Retail in collaboration with the Direct Marketing Manager and the Director of Marketing. Email marketing to promote LakeChamplainChocolates.com as well as the 3 LCC Retail stores and LCCRetail.com.b. Create email schedules that achieve KPI’s and build the LCC brand. Includes weekly (at minimum) email newsletter, transactional emails, and automated campaigns (i.e. abandon cart and reviews).c. Design, build, and deploy all emails and flows in Klayviyo. Responsible for writing creative copy and subject lines, selecting images, and testing emails before scheduling deployment.d. Optimize list segmentation and monitor list health, including send frequency and inbox placement/spam. Perform regular list hygiene.e. Ensure legal compliance including following all CAN-SPAM regulations.f. Identify and implement ways to grow the email list, including social advertising. Ensure all new names are being added to Klayviyo on a regular basis.g. Evaluate and coordinate cooperative marketing partnerships (i.e. e-mail list exchanges, cross promotions, contests, etc).h. Report on key email metrics including open rate, click through rate, sales, and conversion rate. Adjust strategy and schedule accordingly to meet email marketing goals.i. Monitor competitor emails and promotions, as well as stay on top of industry trends within email marketing.j. Launch and oversee SMS Direct-To-Consumer program. Includes creating schedule, promotional messages, deployment and reporting on performance.Responsible for managing and implementing Direct-To-Consumer loyalty/retention programsa. Develop strategic plan to profitably grow customer loyalty, retention rate and lifetime value in collaboration with the Direct Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing.b. Utilize Klayviyo (as well as other platforms) to analyze and leverage data to personalize & target customers.c. Deploy loyalty program for both Mail Order and Retail; integrate within the email marketing campaigns as well as SMS program.d. Establish and report on key metrics for customer loyalty and retention. Use data to make recommendations on growing lifetime value.Responsible for maintaining effective communication, coordination and working relations with LCC personnel and management.a. Provide assistance and support to related departments, as required.b. Ensure all communication reinforces brand values and reflects consistency across all distribution channels.c. Keep Direct Marketing Manager informed of activities and of any significant problems.Additional Responsibilitiesa. Maintain thorough knowledge of computer software and programs used in the department including MS Office, MS Teams, BigCommerce, Syspro/CRM, Mail Order Manager, and other programs.b. Stay informed of trends and changes within eCommerce.c.
