Job Description :	Location: Washington, DC or REMOTE Job Terms: Temporary Salary: $45/hr Start date: 04/04/2022 Date: 02/13/2022 Job Description: Aquent has a temporary contract opportunity for an experienced Email Designer to support a national media agency in DC. There is 8-9 wks of full time work, targeting early April start but hours and start date are flexible. Background check will be required prior to start. Work may be performed at client site at Metro accessible client location in DC or fully remote. Our client is looking for email marketing designer to rework and code email templates to support communication campaigns for public affairs and business development teams. Client will utilize emails to promote their work and communicate with key stakeholders. Candidate may evaluate marketing tools, evaluate Litmus testing platform, set up workflow and provide recommendations and training to optimize engagement. Work with technical and public affairs staff to identify solutions and to execute on them. Email template design work is 6 wks of work. Opportunity for additional 2-3 weeks of work designing custom HTML layouts for program catalog pages to support marketing functions. Pages will be built using editable widgets and CSS style sheet. Candidate will translate mockups into code. Requirements: Email Template Designer Experience with email marketing campaigns & consumer marketing Strong copywriter skills Must have strong HTML & CSS skills to redesign and build reusable email templates Experience with Mailchimp, Direct, Salesforce and Contstant Contact Experience with Litmus email testing platform Experience with Office 365 Experience to evaluate the best way to manage emails across platforms Web Designer Web design and development experience with HTML 4/5, JavaScript, CSS, XML and scripting languages Experience building and maintaining WordPress sites General Requirements Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other departments & colleagues Background check & Proof of COVID Vaccination will be required Candidates may be local or remote Only US Citizen or Green Card Holders are eligible for consideration Client Description: An independent federal agency providing trusted and objective news and information in 47 languages to a weekly audience of more than 237 million people around the world.
