About the Role:

As Manager, Standards and Practices – Advertising Content, you will oversee Tubi’s advertising standards and compliance with applicable laws and regulations . As a part of the Standards & Practices team, you will work closely with the Sales, Content Operations, and Legal teams to enforce a clear and consistent policy. You will also be expected to learn Tubi’s standards and practices, and industry best practices, for scripted content, working with the Content Acquisition, Content Operations and Legal teams.

The position currently is remote, but is expected to eventually work from Tubi’s Los Angeles office.


Implement Tubi’s Standards and Practices policies for advertising content
Collaborate with the Tubi Sales and Legal teams and with the FOX Commercial clearance team to ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
Review advertising content to ensure compliance with policies
Evaluate and substantiate marketing, scientific, and other data submitted by advertisers
Coordinate with Sales Operations and Ad Sales teams to ensure proper socialization of ad restrictions and relevant information
Review original and acquired scripted and unscripted content at all stages of production collaborate with the Legal team and coordinate with the Content Operations team to ensure content (i) is consistent with Tubi standards and industry guidelines and (ii) is rated appropriately, consistently with Tubi standards and industry guidelines, including TV Parental Guidelines. Provide notes and recommendations when necessary
Collaborate with the Legal and Content Operations teams to provide content disclaimers to content as necessary
Use internal tools to socialize findings to ensure that policies are consistently implemented
Highlight policy issues that require further analysis
Assist in improving operational workstreams by identifying challenges and offering solutions, indulging improvements to existing guidelines
Remain updated about the latest streaming industry trends, including conducting analyses of competing streamers’ advertising and content Standards and Practices policies

Your Background:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience with Standards and Practices at a broadcast or cable network or streaming service
1+ years of experience with commercial clearance, advertising standards and guidelines (prior experience with digital advertising a plus)
knowledge of regulations surrounding political advertising, issue advocacy, and charity vetting
Familiarity with clinical research, consumer perception studios and/or statistics, regulatory affairs (FTC, FCC, FDA, CARU Guidelines)
An understanding of content standards and practices for video content
A willingness to review all types of content
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
A self-starter, able to organize and complete tasks without heavy management oversight
