This position will play a key role in supporting day-to-day marketing activities with a focus on internal and external communication, digital marketing, social media, event logistics, writing, copy editing, web page creation and maintenance, general administrative tasks, and project management.In this role you will be responsible for: · Plans, develops and implements messaging for promotion of product awareness, business plans and management communications.· Partner with management, business units, or sales to leverage messages.· Develops, enhances or revises marketing collateral for web, print or other media channels.· Participates in media placement decisions.· May work with outside agencies to build and execute a media strategy· May function as editor for formal business communications.· Co-develop and support the implementation of strategic MarCom programs to increase brand visibility, public relations, related business objectives and protect the corporate brand.· Support Marcom with writing, reviewing and editing a variety of marketing materials including press releases, news pitches, blogs, social media posts, conferences and special events, and corporate communication materials.· Grow social media accounts for global brand, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn by creating content and managing to publish and reporting analytics to corporate.What are the requirements for this position?· Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or journalism.· 3-5 years of previous work experience in similar roles· Previous experience in Digital Marketing· Creative thinker and willingness to communicate ideas· Avid consumer of world news, related industry news, and trends in the market· Proficient in MS Office (to include SharePoint), Analytical software – Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and social media software such as Hootsuite· Expert level experience with Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn· Exceptional organizational and project management skills· Availability for On Site role (Southeast Austin).Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:Austin, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Digital marketing: 3 years (Required)Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)Social media marketing: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
