By providing a stimulating and nurturing environment, encouraging each student to feel positive about themselves, preparing each student to be a knowledgeable, caring and contributing member of society.PHDS OVERVIEWEstablished in 1971, the Peoria Hebrew Day School serves the Reform, Conservative andTraditional communities of the greater Peoria area as well as everyone in the community regardless of religious affiliation. PHDS is the only Jewish Day School in downstate Illinois. OurBoard of Directors includes professional representatives from the Jewish community interested in providing academic excellence in an elementary setting. PHDS is a community day school maintained by tuition, generous allocations from the Jewish Federation of Peoria, support fromCongregation Anshai Emeth and Agudas Achim and contributions from many supportive families and individuals and businesses. PHDS is made up of pre-k through 8th grade.JOB SUMMARYThe marketing and admissions manager is responsible for increasing the enrollment of PeoriaHebrew Day School and managing the families from interest through the enrollment process.QUALIFICATION STANDARDSEducation & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required College course work in related field helpfulMust have a valid driver’s license Proficiency with marketing tools, google and word operating systems Must have experience with public speaking, conducting trainings, volunteer management or other similar forms of engagement preferred. Must have experience with and aptitude for collaborating with community partners and representing an organization in a public settingPhysical Requirements Long hours sometimes required Light work and lifting might be requiredMental Requirements Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly Must work well in stressful, high pressure, situations Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by the school board, coworkers, current families, and prospective families Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions Autonomy to be creative and self motivated in a self-paced environment.JOB EXPECTATIONSDetail, design, and implement strategies to increase the enrollment and retention of students at Peoria Hebrew Day SchoolPromote PHDS programs and advance the Day School’s mission through marketing channels, including, but not limited toCreate social media postsWrite and send e-blasts to the community on up and coming happenings at the schoolUpdate PHDS website and suggest updates for information as neededUsing communication and data tools to promote recruitment and bring new families to the PHDSCreate a PHDS marketing planGiving tours to prospective parents and families Developing networking and recruitment events for prospective parents and families. Improve the marketing strategies for the day school through data review. Track and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns. Actively engage with community members and partners. Represent and promote the day school to community partners and utilize PHDS as a community resource. Work with the community partners to develop effective communication strategies for diverse audiences.Seek out and attend community events and other opportunities to promote PHDS and expand our audience and impact. Recruit new staff and volunteers.Represent PHDS mission and values and promote these to the staff and community Follow all safety procedures that pertain to the duties performed Perform all other duties as assignedJob Type: Part-timePay: $30,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)Digital Marketing Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
