The marketing team supports Verto’s mission by making more students, families, and educators aware of, and enthusiastic about, the opportunity to start college with Verto. The team is responsible for attracting high-quality candidates for Verto semesters and communicating promotional, admissions-related, and logistical information with students from introduction to departure. Our scope of work spans the Verto website, social media, paid advertising, email and text communications, media relations, partner marketing, promotional events, and the development of branded documents and physical collateral. We work intimately with all internal departments to ensure that the Verto brand is represented in a consistent manner.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Performance Marketing Manager will be tasked with working in conjunction with Verto’s ad agency to monitor, optimize and strategize on paid advertising campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Google Search, and other platforms. You will work with Verto’s content team, students, alumni, and graphic designer on building out and maintaining the content pipeline for ads as well as build out a testing calendar for ad creative and landing pages. You’ll also work collaboratively with various internal teams to optimize campaigns based on the quality of leads and their performance throughout the funnel. To succeed, you must be highly organized and have a love for testing and optimization as you strive to improve our communications every day and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can operate at start-up speed and is not afraid to work hard, and with enthusiasm. This role requires an ability to create and maintain efficient, scalable systems and processes and experience with mentoring and supervising staff.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for scaling and deepening Verto’s presence and ad network relationships on key channels such as Facebook, Snap, TikTok, and more
You’ll work directly with cross-functional partners to build paid media strategies promoting Verto’s brand and products, with a focus on driving measurable user acquisition and consideration
End-to-end strategy and execution of media buying on core paid social channels in order to drive towards ambitious enrollment growth goals while maximizing ROI
Proactively identify channel optimization and growth opportunities using campaign and CRM analytics
Provide regular reporting and insights to Acquisition team to optimize spending, targeting, creative, maximizing ROI
Partner with internal and external creative teams to advance a creative learning agenda
Collaborate with internal teams to report on down-funnel performance to optimize campaigns
Manage daily budgets and optimizations of campaigns on various social platforms (TikTok, Snap, Facebook/Instagram)
Track, report and analyze SEM campaigns as well as continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery
Weekly reporting of ad performance as well as tracking performance through Verto’s funnel in Salesforce
Constantly test iterate to drive continuous improvement work collaboratively with internal partners to support their needs as well as those of search. Especially the organic social team.

Requirements and Qualifications
Ability to work remotely, this position is fully remote

You have experience analyzing data and are always asking questions and probing deeper to uncover hidden trends that lead to new ideas and better results
You are well versed in navigating campaign interfaces like Facebook/Snap Ads Manager
You have experience launching new campaigns, running creative tests, and reporting on the results
A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience executing digital marketing campaigns. E.g. Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Display Ads, or video advertising campaigns
2+ years of SEM Campaign Experience
Holistic understanding of digital marketing
Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
