We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Director who is passionate about creating value for both shoppers and businesses through our ad platforms. In this role, you lead product marketing across a portfolio of ad products and our automated and programmatic platforms including the Walmart DSP, Display Self-serve and audience solutions. You will build and manage a team of product marketers to develop market and product strategies, create product positioning and messaging, define and execute GTM strategies, and enable revenue-bearing teams, while partnering with various internal and external stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in driving market success of your products, building our Adtech platforms and advertising business.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a revenue-motivated product marketing leader who can build and manage a strong team, establish product strategies that solve market needs and have a demonstrated track record of launching and growing category-defining digital advertising products. A strong understanding of digital advertising, programmatic and AdTech platforms is preferred.
You’ll make an impact by:
Build, manage and develop a high-performing team
Identify and assess market opportunities. Develop business case and Market Requirement document in collaboration with product and sales
Build and contribute to long-range vision and business plan for your product portfolio and the actions and plans on how to get there
Lead team to develop deep understanding of market needs by customer segments through primary and secondary research
Lead the strategic positioning and messaging that inspires and resonates with target audiences, industry influencers and decisions makers.
Develop portfolio-level product marketing strategies, build go-to-market plans and quarterback launches to drive revenue and adoption goals
Partner closely with marketing and sales teams on sales enablement
Drive cross-functional business and product marketing initiatives to achieve revenue and product growth
Build trust and strong working relationship with AdTech and channel partners to drive business and product marketing initiatives
Provide thought leadership on market and competitive trends
Build consensus and inspire action through data-driven insights and execute with operational rigor and efficiency
Act as the customer champion in internal ideation, planning and execution
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in product marketing or B2B marketing, and 6+ years of experience in digital advertising or AdTech platform
A solid understanding of advertising technology, ecosystem and digital marketing
Demonstrated success in developing compelling product strategy, product value propositions, positionings and GTM strategies and tactics that drive revenue impact
Deep knowledge in leading and managing people, processes, initiatives, and strategic actions within the team.
Embrace working in a fast paced continually evolving environment
Exceptional communication skills in both writing and presentation. Strong story-telling capabilities
Analytical and data-driven
Structured and a strategic thinker
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
