About the Retention Marketing Manager position Neighborhood Goods is looking for a Retention Marketing Manager. This role will be responsible for driving the strategy, planning, and execution for customer lifecycle and retention marketing at Neighborhood Goods. We’re looking for a customer-obsessed, data driven team player to maximize the potential of our owned channels and loyalty program.You’ll have the opportunity to identify customer segments, and map out the consumer journey to improve customer lifetime value, increase repeat customer revenue and retention, and overhaul the current loyalty program – Neighborhood Perks. A successful candidate thrives in a fast paced, growth focused, start-up environment. You’re passionate and using data and insights to improve the customer experience across every state of their journey. This position will report to the Marketing Director. Key responsibilities: Identify customer interaction touchpoints, develop customer lifecycle stages, and create strategic initiatives for each stage of the customer journey, including onboarding, engagement and retention for digital and physical locations. Create effective loyalty programs that leverage customer behavior data through a mix of targeted and broad campaigns via email, SMS, direct mail, and social. Build a robust and innovative email strategy that focuses on personalization, and churn prevention to drive demand and audience growth. Set key performance indicators, and proactively report and communicate results with the leadership team on a weekly and monthly basis. What we’re looking for: 5-7 years of digital marketing and retention experience within retail or ecommerce A solid business understanding and proven ability to develop, implement, enhance, and measure successful customer acquisition retention programs require. Strong communication skills, and ability to work cross functionally with internal and external contributors Detail-oriented and organized, and have the ability to manage multiple projects at once Data driven with strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and report on metrics using both qualitative insights to create and iterate strategy Experience working in an e-commerce or direct to consumer business, and in an omni channel environment with a retail presence Experience implementing customer segmentation data into a retention program Deep experience with CRM / ESP platforms including Klaviyo and Shopify Plus Consumer centric mindset and have a deep understanding of our target consumer Possesses a passion for collaboration and teamwork Details & Benefits: Competitive salary and stock options commensurate with experience Unlimited vacation days Healthcare and other such benefits available As an early hire at an exciting young company, you’d be directly involved with the creation of the company’s foundational culture We are an equal opportunity workplace committed to crafting a culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
