The Opportunity: The new Four Seasons Hotel Nashville seeks a Social Media Coordinator to join our talented pre-opening team! Don’t miss this unique opportunity to be part of the world’s leading luxury hotel company! This individual will drive awareness of Four Seasons Hotel Nashville and its guest offerings through the planning and execution of campaigns in the online space including, but not limited to, all forms of social media, digital marketing and online reputation management. Works directly with the Director of Public Relations to assist with the implementation of public relations and marketing strategies including pitching stories, hosting media visits and tracking of all related efforts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for conceptualizing and producing curated content with direction from the Director of Public Relations, ensuring it amplifies key messages and tells a story consistent with our hotel and Four Seasons brand identity. Assist with video and photo shoots at the hotel as well as create new, on-brand photography for social media posts as needed. Manages and monitors the hotel’s presence on Social Media networks (primarily Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) in conjunction with input and support from the Director of Public Relations. Responsible for community engagement on relevant social media channels. Responsible for driving collection and usage of User Generated Content. Initiate conversations and build relationships with digital influencers on a consistent basis Manage on-line and social reputation for Resort and Restaurants, manage content and implementation for all (integrated) social media initiatives and web content with retained PR Agencies and Contractors. Contribute regularly to Corporate social media initiatives and implement local social media partnerships for cross-promotional opportunities. Manage social media analytics, monitoring tools and report results and findings. Prepare monthly Social Media Report. Read industry and social media news and training materials provided by Corporate and/or corporate agencies. With direction and assistance from Director of Public Relations, update and maintain property website, app and external booking engines within the corporate standards, and maintain current image library and video footage to maximize media coverage. Act as web contact for hotel divisions and Corporate Web Team in conjunction with the Director of Public Relations. Monitor the hotel’s presence on all relevant websites, including review sites such as Revinate, Google, Trip Advisor, Facebook, Yelp, etc., ensuring content is accurate and updated. Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer service issues raised in digital spaces . Create and coordinate email marketing to local email lists through our Four Seasons programs with input and support from the Director of Public Relations (LMLM) Ensure leads and potential business opportunities are flagged and followed-up on by appropriate individual. Ensure all relevant news is disseminated through these networks with channel-appropriate content. Facilitate media requests, interviews, photo shoots, and maintain press clippings and media lists Work with PRD to provide media with relevant hotel news, digital assets and timely pitching opportunities. Attend PR/F&B/Spa marketing meetings as well as other meetings pertinent to promotions. Attend hotel promotional events as needed. Assist with planning and implementing related media coverage and promotions. Produce weekly and monthly reports as needed for in-house team, owners, corporate office and Director of Public Relations and PR Agency/Contractor. Conduct media and influencer property tours and develop itineraries as needed. Maintain excellent vendor relationships and supervise projects, particularly graphics, printing, tracking ad schedules and others as needed. Create presentation materials for marketing and budget presentations, as well as owners’ meetings. Assist with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, including general administration and assisting with site inspections. Assist with the development of all direct sales presentation material for both travel industry and group sales. Proof read all marketing material, including collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: At least 2 years of previous Marketing or Public Relations experience preferred, especially in a luxury environment. Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills, with a strong sense of quality and a creative mindset. Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. Knowledge of the local Nashville area is preferred. Detail-oriented and well organized with solid project management capabilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proven knowledge of mobile, emerging and social media applications. Motivated to educate and learn the future of social media as it relates to the property.
