We’re looking for you.As a Social Media Coordinator at GreaterGood, you will use a diverse range of skills to implement and monitor the company’s social media strategies on multiple platforms, working with a stellar team of dedicated peers. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will also identify and develop working relationships with like-minded online publishers, influencers, and/or users. You will engage a range of different audiences interested in learning more about issues affecting people, pets, and the planet.Job DutiesFollow publishing calendar to schedule and promote content on GreaterGood social channels using third-party apps and native social tools;Track and report on social post performance through insights tools (Google Analytics, Facebook and Instagram insights, and 3rd-party apps to optimize for reach, click-through rate and engagement;Develop and manage a content testing process using Facebook native tools to optimize reach, click-through rate and engagement;Coordinate and curate a engaging marketing campaigns through social media;Identify, engage, and build working relations with online publishers, influencers, and users;Increase user engagement across all social platforms and monitor page/account health;Remain informed on topical and emerging social trends as they pertain to GreaterGood Publishing verticals, in particular animal welfare, environmental, and public health issues;Communicate and coordinate with writers and video team;Propose, plan, and execute integrated marketing initiatives with different teams;Attend full-time workdays with regular hours;Assist other team members or teams in their duties when needed, including ad trafficking.ExperienceREQUIREDDegree in marketing (communications, journalism, & other related degrees are acceptable); OR 1-2 years of experience working in digital mediaSocial media channel administration (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest)Social media management/scheduling/publishingBlog links, photos, Facebook & Instagram StoriesSocial media content collation, review, and approval for postingSocial media engagement managementContent creation and light graphic design with ability to assess & adjust aesthetic quality based on performance analysisAbility to analyze performance in using Facebook/Instagram insights and metricsUnderstanding of Google Analytics preferredClear, supportive, & effective communication skills, strong proclivity for teamworkAbout the CompanyGreaterGood’s mission is to give back to people, pets, and the planet through small actions that make a big impact in worldly causes.
