Job Description : | Raleigh Regional Association of Realtor® Job descriptionJob Title: Social Media Engagement ManagerStatus: Full Time (Remote or In-Office) Reports to: (Director of Communications)POSITION SUMMARY: The Social Media Engagement Manager’s primary responsibility is to frequently monitor and engage members on the association’s social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Social Media Manager shall:Work with the Social Media Content Manager to plan the association’s monthly social media calendar in collaboration with the rest of the association’s marketing and communications teamFrequently – at least daily on weekdays and occasionally on weekends and holidays –interact with members on their personal accounts and drive interactions on the association’s accountsTimely respond to requests for information, comments, and other feedback posted on association’s social media accountsImmediately report any inappropriate and/or worrisome feedback on association’s social media accounts to the Director of Communications and take action to remove, delete, or otherwise respond, as determined by the Director of CommunicationsRepost relevant content from state and national association and other industry resourcesCurate content from industry resourcesPerform other tasks as determined by the CEO or Director of CommunicationsQUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidate will have:Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum 2 years related experienceStrong written and oral communication skillsGraphic design, layout, editing, and proofreading skillsBasic understanding of web design, html, CSS, and content management systems (knowledge of programs such as WordPress or Drupel)Excellent customer service skills; team playerWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to walk, stand, and sit (including on the floor) for long periods of time.Must be able to lift and carry supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.Ability to stand or sit while maintaining alertness for several hours at a time.Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling, and walking.Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate.Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergencyAbility to view/enter data for long periods of time.Raleigh Regional Association of Realtor® values flexibility and the willingness to take on new challenges.
