The Social Media Manager will own all things relating to organic social media from day-to-day tasks to big-picture strategic planning and analysis. We expect the Social Media Manager to be up-to-date with the latest social media platforms and trends.The ideal candidate will be a master of our primary channels of Instagram, Facebook and YouTube while fully able to get us established on TikTok and expand our presence on channels like Pinterest and LinkedIn. All of this will need to be done using analytics and critical thinking to devise the best strategy for growth across all channels. Ultimately the Social Media Manager will be responsible for handling our social media presence providing high levels of traffic and customer engagement.General DutiesDay-to-Day upkeep for Scosche’s organic social media channels includingo Post curation, scheduling and execution including image selection and caption writingo Monitoring, interacting and responding to questions and comments on various social media channelso Working with marketing and graphics teams to ensure posts are accurate and on-brando Perform research on current social trends and audience preferenceso Update social media accounts’ design and content with current products (cover photos etc.)o Work together with Content Curator and Creative Teams to manage visual assetso Collaborate with internal resources on new content creationBig-Picture planning and strategyo Record and track analytics for all social channelso Use analytics to draft a strategy, and adjust as necessary, for best results to achieve higher follower growth and customer engagemento Suggest and implement new features to increase brand awarenesso Report and present findings on a consistent basis to all stakeholderso Establish and maintain a budget for content creationAdditional ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Amazon team to provide social content for Amazon’s social media campaignWork with Digital Marketing team on paid social campaign contentGenerate content to be used on social media channels.
