Job Description : Job Summary
The Social Media/Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Marketing Manager. He/She/They will create high-quality graphic materials that will boost our brand image and help us build a loyal customer base. As a Social Media/Marketing Specialist, you need to be exceptionally creative and motivated. This position requires extensive marketing knowledge and comprehension of social media trends. You need to have great communication and organizational skills and be able to both come to decisions independently and work in a team environment.
He/She/They will nurture and manage social media communities including blogs, message boards, email discussion groups, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Constant Contact, etc. and branded communities to generate exposure. Engage and increase loyalty of existing customers through social media efforts. Develop methods for generating awareness through social media. Create social media messaging to be used throughout company; establish guidelines for social media messaging.
He/She/They will also provide graphic production and marketing administrative support duties. He/She/They supports the production of a variety of corporate print and electronic communications materials including newsletters, forms, brochures, calendars, greeting cards, fliers, promotions specialties, print ads, signage, event/booth displays, collateral, posters, PowerPoints, e-marketing materials and web banners such as Google Ad campaigns, as well as audio-visual, television and radio materials that comply with corporate brand standards.
He/She/They must have strong desktop publishing and design skills, have thorough knowledge of print production technologies and a good working knowledge of broadcast and web production. He/She/They must also have strong time management skills with ability to work under pressure and handle a variety of projects simultaneously within a deadline-driven environment without compromising creativity, quality or attention to detail.

I. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design top-notch graphic content for different social media channelsDevelop fresh concepts based on company goals and current social media trendsPresent ideas and drafts to the teamEnsure that all the graphic elements are consistent in terms of style, colors, and messageWork with the marketing team to build a strong social media presenceMeasure key performance indicators and provide suggestions on what can be improvedManage for social media communities, track results and report out monthly;He/She/They will create, execute and manage promotional calendar and events. Meet with respective small business unit managers to proactively plan out events, activity or educational workshops;Create and Manage company newsletter(s). Working with departments on content and disseminating newsletter through company wide communication.Create collaterals specific to services provided at the clinic and programs offered or covered under the health plan related to the awareness of the month;Execute layouts to meet or exceed customer expectations, with adherence to company guidelines and in harmony with principles of good design;Uphold and promote the Corporate Brand Guidelines by constant updating of the sections and adding new sections as the need arises;Maintain all design template files ensuring that everything is current, accurate and in compliance with brand standards;Provide marketing administrative support including but not limited to: department expense tracking and vendor payments; sponsorships and solicitationsKeep an orderly file of the materials on per company and per project basis;Provide staffing, logistics and pre-production support/coordination for sales, marketing, advertising and promotional events and projects.Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

II. Experience & Specifications
1. Associates Degree or two (2) year design professional degree – License is not required. However, preference given to Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, Advertising Design, or Social Media Design.
2. Minimum of 2 years experience in conceptualizing, developing and implementing innovative and effective design solutions for communications and marketing materials. Collaboratively consults with clients both internal and external to establish project direction. Must also have sufficient creative background in assessing possible design problems and providing alternative solutions. Proposes the most effective way of getting a message across in print, electronic, and digital media.
3. Knowledge of analytics and understanding of campaign effectiveness. Knowledge of PR, marketing and lead generation.
4. Must have the depth of creativity and ingenuity in developing compelling visuals in various dimensional approaches.
5. Strong desktop publishing and design skills and thorough knowledge of print production technologies. +Must have expertise in using design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud Design Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and other design tools.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
7. Experience in preparing and collecting files for final output to commercial printers and media publishers.
8. Ability to effectively and efficiently translate oral and written instructions into graphic materials that meet company brand standards/requirements
9. Highly motivated self-starter and a team player with ability to interact with people at all levels internally and with vendors
10. Extremely well-organized with a strong attention to detail
11. Ability to manage own workflow and take responsibility for delivering high quality products within aggressive timelines
12. Strong time management skills with ability to work under pressure and handle a variety of projects simultaneously within a deadline-driven environment without compromising creativity
13. Effective team player. With very good interpersonal relationship skills and can work and relate well with co-employees, patients and customers.
14. Must have the behavioral sensitivity, maturity, diplomacy and tact to address complex situations and handle irate customers.
15. Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
16. Must learn basic familiarity on federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management.
