The Company’s stock is traded on the NYSE under the symbol “CATO”.Cato is seeking a social and tech-savvy professional who will be responsible for creating and maintaining a strong online presence for the company’s brands. This role implements the company’s online marketing strategies through its social media accounts. The ideal candidate should have a passion for developing engaging content with an interest in communicating the latest trends in women’s fashion.Responsibilities include:Maintaining and optimizing the company’s social media profiles;Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms including writing and editing social media posts (paid and organic);Improving customer engagement and promoting social media campaigns through video, photos and design files;Developing and maintaining social media editorial calendars for each brand with appropriate organic content on a daily basis;Controlling the customer service voice on all social media channels, representing and responding on behalf of each store brand in the appropriate brand voice;Developing and managing social influencer programs with blogger outreach and user-generated content;Brainstorming and facilitating creative marketing ideas and strategies for our brands;Tracking and analyzing analytic reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness and modifying accordingly to optimize results;Reviewing competitors’ social media sites to stay current on online trends; andWorking with internal and external teams to create successful plans and execute campaigns.Requirements:Possess a 4 year degree in either Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications or JournalismMinimum of 2 years in-house or agency experience;Strong copy writing skills;Social media/web site management experience;Knowledge of social media platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and internet programs;Ability to coordinate and control numerous projects simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail;Strong organization and management abilities;Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;Familiarity with online marketing strategies and digital marketing channels; andAbility to deliver creative content through text, image and video.Retail experience is a plus.The company offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits including Medical/Dental/Life Insurance package, 401(K) Retirement Plan, Flexible Spending Plan, Stock Purchase Plan and more!
