Overview:
OVERVIEW: The Social Media Strategist will work with the leader of Digital Marketing to translate business objectives into a cohesive social media strategy and set of tactics. These tactics will be organized on a social media content calendar that this individual will create, coordinate and publish, working in concert with the larger marketing team. This individual has a passion for using social media to boost the firm’s brand equity, create impactful conversations, and ultimately drive client engagements.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Under the supervision of Marketing Leadership):
Responsible for creating, coordinating, and executing the social media calendar
Responsible for managing our social media publishing platform Hootsuite for all external posts to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
Responsible for managing our Roosterly social platform
Responsible for understanding social media and algorithm trends to help BAL refine its social media strategy
Responsible for reporting on metrics and developing insights from metrics to help move the business forward
Other duties as assigned
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Under the supervision of the Manager, Marketing):
Ability to dive in and help with other digital platforms such as our email marketing and CMS
Assist with SEO activities

Good platforms to know: Hootsuite, Canva, INDD, Pardot, Salesforce, LinkedIn
Proficiency in the use of primary Microsoft applications
Physical Requirements:
Able to maintain a sedentary position for up to 90% of the work day
Able to type and to grasp, grip, push and pull file drawers and doors
Able to walk and t climb stairs or use elevator to coordinate with other departments
Able to bend, stoop, kneel and/or stand to access files and documents
Able to lift up to 25 lbs of files and/or boxes
Experience:
Typically at least 3 to 6 years of experience managing social media platforms and database marketing, in a business services industry.
Must have experience and be proficient in writing for the web
Legal experience a plus
Minimum Education Level:
Typically a Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. |
