Our AAE’s work with marketing teams at leading venture-backed startups to help bring innovative PR/marketing programs and visual content to life for our clients and the agency.We are looking for curious and creative individuals who are looking to plan and execute next-generation PR/content marketing campaigns in a constantly evolving digital media landscape. Candidates should be willing to live and breathe digital media to understand how they can help their clients rise above the noise and be heard in an increasingly cluttered news cycle.Preference will be given to those that have had previous agency or in-house startup marketing experience working on a PR/digital marketing team. Great writers and storytellers wanted!Responsibilities and DutiesOrganizing, tracking, managing, monitoring and keeping on schedule current PR and content marketing campaigns.Supporting media relations programs.Managing day-to-day social media programs.Pursuing distribution and contributed content.Creating and managing media and influencer distribution lists.Developing story narratives and template-based graphics.Supporting copy creation for clients across all aspects of their digital marketing programs.Researching and reading on client markets.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree + 1-3 years of communications, public relations or marketing experience in an agency or start-up environmentAn enthusiastic storyteller who loves to create and define brands and stories to drive awarenessExperience across social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.Highly organized professional with the ability to manage up and keep pr and content marketing programs on track with scope and scheduleExperience conceiving and pitching targeted stories to business, technology and startup media with a track record of well-crafted media relations resultsExperience working within a Google Docs run organizationExperience building branded content that can appeal to prospective buyers and drive media storiesExperience with advising clients on best social media practices for both organic and paid reachClient management or clients service experience with direct responsibility for regular client communicationsSelf-starter that has an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to work in flat workplace environment, with little micro-managingProficient writing, editing and content strategy and development expertise, including experience crafting bylines, blog posts, media pitches, video scripts, newsletters, abstracts, executive bios and briefing sheetsThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable — more reliable than spontaneousAdaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionAchievement-oriented — enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might failAutonomous/Independent — enjoys working with little directionJob Type: Full-timePay: $35,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:RemoteEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations |
