Job Opening for Communications Associate – Full Time in Harvest Christian Fellowship (Riverside, CA 92504)

The Communications Associate works to develop and produce church communications including but not limited to, social media publishing, emails, website updates, and any church media. They will report directly to the Communications Supervisor and assist in all communication media and materials that promote and represent Harvest Christian Fellowship. He/She serves with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes Harvest’s culture, mission, and values.
. Requirements:
Maintain a high standard for quality and on-time production of church media.
Work with the Project Manager to request all publishing material.
Schedule/Publish social media in relation to Communications and Marketing plans.
Assists with all event/ministry communication plans.
Assists with all social media campaigns.
Analysis of current social media trends and provides campaigns based on those trends.
Assists with ChMS projects, check-ins, and event registrations.
Coordinate projects, publishing activities and meet key deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.
Accurately report all activities in Project Management software.
Physical requirements, with or without accommodation, include long periods of sitting, repetitive hand motions due to keyboard typing, handle materials, looking at the computer screen for prolonged periods of time
Must have knowledge of Email, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and be familiar with Mac OS.
Must attend Harvest regularly.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic understanding of HTML.
Experience in Social Media Management and CRM.
General understanding of Church management software.
Problem-solving and self-starter attitude.
