We are actively seeking a highly motivated Content Designer to join our group. Chase is transforming the future by incorporating strong Product and Design discipline along with emerging technologies into the products and services we create. To do our job well, we utilize user-centered techniques to help us break through the industry jargon and bureaucracy and find insights that others can’t. We elevate UX not just to solve users’ problems but also to use design to steer the product’s evolution into a powerful and extensible framework.
As a Content Designer, you will leverage your understanding of UX writing, content strategy, and storytelling.
You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team that includes researchers, product designers, content designers, product managers, engineers, and business partners who share your passion for delivering unique and innovative financial digital products and services of all kinds.
What You’ll Do
Under the guidance and direction of Content Leads, execute on a communication strategy for our product experiences.
Plan, create, and structure product content, such as user interface content, product education, and navigation.
Partner with Experience Designers as they develop work flows, wireframes, and prototypes
In partnership with UX Researchers and Lead Designers, observation and light participation in upfront user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and usability testing to see how your solutions work for users
Use and contribute to content systems (voice, tone, and brand standards; messaging; accessibility libraries)
Follow our content governance and approvals process
Our Desired Profile
Experience either in UX-focused writing or analogous writing practice
Demonstrated experience in writing within brand and copy standards, including style, voice, and tone
Plans and structures their own work, executing quality work within expected time frames
Familiarity with user-centered design approaches
Prior work involves cross-functional collaboration, preferably within a digital product context
Strong UX Writing or Copywriting skills, and proficiency in structuring content (Information Architecture)
Developing understanding of adjacent skills such as Interaction Design, User Research, and Prototyping
Proficient communication and presentation skills; comfort articulating the rationale behind content decisions within their team
