Location/Division Specific Information This position is a part of the Sample Prep Business Unit within the Biosciences Division of the Life Sciences and Laboratory Products Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific. The position is located in Carlsbad, CA. How you will make an impact ? You will support our marketing activities for sample preparation collection devices, instruments and reagents which encompass products for in-Vitro diagnostic use (IVD) and research-use only (RUO). You will own the SEM channel, develop digital marketing strategies, lead ad optimization, generate reports and work with global partners for implementation. The core of your role will be to support our customers’ digital experience, to drive our marketing campaigns through paid search channels, to use data to improve the reach of our products & services, and to deliver on our growth expectations. Our digital technologies are key to reaching our customers, improving their experience and supporting their work and research. What you will do? Lead the Search Paid channel and drive campaign optimization. Delivery of ongoing reporting and campaign analysis using Adobe Analytics, Power BI and other tools. Review campaigns performance, ad copy, keywords and competitor terms. Drive account changes, budget management and have a deep knowledge of our products and segments. Work closely with Global and Regional Market Development Managers to support digital programs in a global scale. Work with internal search managers to implement, learn, and share outstanding digital marketing campaigns. Regularly conduct benchmark analysis to support SEM strategies and apply findings to our paid search campaigns. Train and educate business partners to achieve great quality paid ads. How you will get here? Education Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, or related degree Experience 5 years of experience in digital marketing campaigns, programs, and tactic management Proven hands-on experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads and any other paid search engines Experience in life sciences industry is a plus. Knowledge, skills and Abilities Outstanding presentation skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills are fundamental Strong understanding of all digital channels, standard methodologies and ability to implement those.
