Job Description
The Digital & Social Media Coordinator will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies that align with the mission, programs, and services of the agency and its portfolio of clients. We’re looking for a creative and savvy storyteller to own and build our digital and social media community by creating impactful and engaging visual content and posts. This role brings with it the opportunity to work for a business focused agency in the field of marketing, while also supporting children with a variety of developmental needs, their families, and the hard-working clinical staff who support them.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and clients to develop and execute results-driven digital marketing campaigns and social media strategiesCreate and distribute engaging content on digital and social media platformsDemonstrate strong editorial, writing and creative judgement with a high attention to detailMaintain a unified brand voice across digital and social media channelsDistribute content thru websites, newsletters and various digital campaignsGrow and expand social media presence and audience on existing and new platformsDevelop and coordinate a monthly editorial calendar to schedule and post content accordinglyBuild rapport with clients and be curious to identify new content opportunities and trendsMake recommendations on content, designs and campaigns to improve effectivenessUtilize SEO guidelines to optimize content in support of marketing strategiesReview analytics, report on key performance metricsAssist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s DegreePassion for digital and social media and a strong desire to learn more1-3 years of experience creating and managing social media and website contentProficiency with major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTubeSelf-motivated and organized with the ability to work collaborativelyExcellent short form copywriting skillsStrong verbal communication skills with the ability to pitch and explain ideasDirect experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite) preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative SuiteFlexibility for local travel up to 15%
