The Data and Analytics (D&A) organization is looking for individuals who are able to make an impact in our data-driven-transformation – leaders in their field who can readily move between the complex world of data, analytics and insights and able to bridge towards the use of information in a business context – translating that complexity into strategies, products, capabilities, and ideas that our customers and partners understand.
We are looking for Director of D&A Marketing leader who can shape, articulate, and drive our story both internally and externally – leveraging their deep understanding of our products and capabilities and translating this into product branding and marketing. This person will manage all internal and external communications, and work with Corporate Brand and BU Product Marketing to bring new D&A value propositions to market.
Scope & Key Competencies:
Product Marketing
Design and manage a robust and holistic Marketing & Communications program to position Fiserv’s new Data & Analytics (D&A) business as an industry leader across next generation Marketing, Fraud, and Credit decisioning solutions
Oversee the creation of high-level multi-channel marketing campaigns, multi-channel advertising, and customer life cycle, as they relate to brand recognition, revenue growth, visual identity, marketing strategy and financial goals
Work collaboratively across the organization to develop, implement, track and optimize marketing efforts and promotional campaigns for various products, programs and services
Provide oversight of multiple marketing functions: Content, Product Marketing, Digital, Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Event Planning and Business Development
Translate brand and product vision into differentiated and compelling campaigns for each audience and enable the outward facing teams to convey our story
Know our customers, their pain points and their success stories and translate these into better content and campaigns with trackable improvements
Ensure alignment with the operational budget by advising on long range financial plans, marketing plans and appropriate strategies
Build strategic go-to-market regional plan for various new product areas, including setting all goals and resource allocation
Direct, design and develop strategic go-to-market plans and programs in support of the overall strategic business plan and revenue growth goals for all D&A products and services.
Develop actionable marketing schedules, strategies and plans, project schedules, resource forecasts, and maintain consistent processes and tools to ensure timely and successful execution of segment and product marketing plans and programs.
Oversee complex go-to-market programs, monitoring and reporting on program progress, and resolving open issues to ensure flawless execution of GTM programs.
Collaborate across all product lines to coordinate successful segment and product strategies in preparation for successful deployments, including market and competitive analysis, differentiated product packaging and positioning, and client adoption.
Collaborate with corporate marketing and multiple sales teams to identify and develop sales tools and marketing collateral to accelerate sales process and improve win rate.
Generate post-mortem findings and apply them to continuous segment and product marketing improvement processes.
Assist leadership with business planning, strategy formation, executive reporting, key client meetings and presentation development.
Work directly with Product Management to ensure all product roadmaps and functionality is utilized fully by the sales organization
External Communications, Media and Public Relations
Serve as D&A primary contact for top-tier media relations, including proactive announcements, drafting and publishing press releases, handling media inquiries and driving ongoing campaigns
Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Global Brand and Business Unit Sales & Marketing units to ensure external communications are aligned across the organization
Stay abreast of current marketing and business trends within the Enterprise Data & Analytics industry and identifying opportunities to enhance the brand’s image and capitalize on the changing competitive marketplace
Internal Communications
Develop rapport and manage expectations with key internal stakeholders and senior leadership through regular communication and reporting on metrics and success of segment strategies and product market programs
Partner closely with Corporate Communications to keep internal stakeholder and associates informed, inspired and aligned on the D&A vision
This leader has a demonstrated track record of outstanding business execution while possessing the following experiences and characteristics:
7-10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations and product marketing with FI and Technology industry experience highly preferred
5+ years of experience in the development of communications strategies in support of reputation, media relations, stakeholder relationship-building and crisis/issue management
5+ years of experience managing and partnering with external agencies and consultants, managing and mentoring teams, and leading communications in times of change, including growth, integration and business transformation
Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations and teams
Experience managing high degree of change and complexity across organization and portfolio
Ability to present technical information in a clear, confident, and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical individuals.
Proven ability to assimilate quickly into new environments by absorbing information that creates a deep understanding of business process, strategic goals, and objectives. Connect multiple data points in new and insightful ways to make sense of complex and ambiguous situations.
Strong relationship management skills to collaborate and partner with senior decision makers across the company. Proven ability to quickly gain trust and partner with a broad group of stakeholders.
Strong track record of partnering and motivating multi-discipline and diverse teams. Attract, develop and retain high performing talent encouraging them to achieve high performance.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate, influence and inspire at all levels within the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA/MS preferred.
