(“LGI”) is an Austin, Texas-based consumer products company that is the market leader for high-end comfort products for the home, including designer comfort floor mats and accessories. The company’s products are sold under the GelPro®, NewLife®, Nevermove™, and Pad-!T® brands.Global company that designs and domestically manufactures, markets, and sells comfort products.Located in Austin, Texas, with company-owned manufacturing facility in Waco, Texas (Area 51 Manufacturing).Omnichannel distribution – direct-to-consumer, Amazon, and Big Box retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Lowe’s, and WalmartROLEThe Director of Marketing role at LGI is responsible for developing and ensuring proper execution of the company’s overall marketing strategy with particular emphasis on digital marketing. The role is responsible for the company’s image, appearance, and communication to the outside world.The Director of Marketing will design business processes to improve customer experience, increase profitability, and improve the company’s competitive position across all online distribution channels. The role will work cross-functionally with the sales, marketing, manufacturing, IT, and operations teams to achieve these objectives. The Director of Marketing reports to the COO and has managerial responsibilities for three marketing team members.This is a remote position that requires up to 25% local travel to Austin and Waco. The Director of Marketing must reside in the central Texas area.HIGH-LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIESBuild, plan and ensure proper implementation of the company’s overall marketing strategy, including brand positioning, brand personality, creative direction, digital marketing strategy, and product go-to-market planning.Prepare buyer personas and develop campaigns for targeted outreach.Build brand image and equity among the target consumer base.Conduct market research to help drive decision-making on pricing structures and product development.Manage company’s website design and on-going enhancements, digital and traditional media advertising assets, and other creative projects.Manage and train other company marketing team members as neededStay up to date with the latest digital marketing technologies and best practices and have a working knowledge of third-party retailer advertising platforms (i.e., HomeDepot.com, Wayfair, Overstock.com, and Amazon AMS)Work with team members to develop ROI targets and KPIs across all online distribution channels.Analyze data and present results and recommendations to the Executive Team.Prepare and manage the marketing and digital marketing budgets.Oversee all the company’s social media strategy. (Note: LGI does have a Marketing Coordinator that manages the day-to-day needs of the company’s social media accounts, such as posts and generating followers).Manage and improve online content, considering SEO, Google Analytics, and any other traffic-driving methodsBuild a customer decision process flow, inbound marketing plan, and CRO strategy for the company’s direct-to-consumer website.Work with marketing team on direct-to-consumer site (gelpro.com) improvements, updates, A/B testing strategy, and the like, to maximize site conversion and AOV.Create a promotional calendar and work with the manufacturing, marketing, and creative teams to ensure promotional viability, timely creation and delivery of creative assets, and the successful launch of each promotion.Monitor competition and provide a strategy for the company’s positioning in the competitive landscape.DUTIESParticipate in negotiating agreements with any 3rd party digital marketing agencies.Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal company stakeholders.Assist Executive Team with forecasting and tracking of key account metrics for all online distribution channels.Any other duties as assigned by the COO or Executive Team.REQUIREMENTSDemonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-levelExtensive experience with Google AdWords, Bing, Amazon AMS, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and other emerging technologiesSolid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)Familiarity with Asana project management software is a plus but not requiredProven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detailExcellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you have experience with Google AdWords, Bing, Amazon AMS, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and other emerging technologies?Experience:Marketing: 5 years (Required)Managing: 4 years (Required)Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
