The position is specific to working in an Agile-methodology team with multi-disciplinary teams working concurrently on digital products, releasing fully functional code with regular frequency.RESPONSIBILITIESAssessing a client’s content needs, goals and resourcesAuditing existing content sources, leveraging knowledge of the digital landscape business goals and audienceMapping out content types, structures, editorial voice, and workflow processesParticipate in client discussions and facilitating workshops to build team and client consensus around content offerings at the onset of a projectDeveloping strategy documents that will articulate a strong point of view both for selling processes and idea s to clients as well as aligning the internal teamManaging content in spreadsheets, documents and within coded productsWriting prototype copy, establishing the voice and tone of a solution within provided brand guidanceQUALIFICATIONSHave a strong editorial background and be able to write, edit, and articulate thoughts succinctly and clearlyBe a digital thinker, proficient in digital content including websites, social media, blogs and mobile/tablet applicationsAspire to be a thought leader in how corporations use thoughtful, meaningful content to enhance and extend their brands, keeping up on trends and innovations in content strategyHave knowledge of the content management process for large-scale digital solutions, including a basic understanding of content management system technology and SEOIf not have direct experience in Agile, be comfortable working with multi-disciplinary, self-organizing teams with fast-paced digital deadlinesVSA Partners is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
