Job Description Summary
This is a new role established to support our MR portfolio. The primary responsibility is to support the execution of marketing communications tactics. Specific activities may include executional support in the areas of advertising materials development and management, customer events, web page development and updates, collateral creation, customer presentations editing, digital sales aids and sales communications across both print and digital mediums and channels. This role will also be instrumental in using and maintaining tools, such as Showpad, Veeva, and our content management platform.
This role will collaborate and engage internal expert resources across the business, such as the Product Marketing Communications colleagues, and centralized marketing/communications functions. The role will also work with external firms to ensure tactical items are delivered on time. And where appropriate, this role will also collaborate with regional peers to ensure all content and marketing communications assets meet regional activation and customer engagement needs.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Executional support for tactics, such as advertising, customer events and exhibits, sales collateral, content marketing, promotional materials, web and digital programming.
Support for achieving content and asset approval through Veeva, our regulatory approval tool.
Support the Global Radiology Customer Events leader with content and needs associated with the successful delivery of events and conferences.
Engage with the Sales Communications Leaders to drive strong sales engagement and utilization of customer-facing materials.
Closely collaborate with the Digital Strategy and Optimization leader and the Radiology Campaign Manager and Operations leader to optimally execute digital marketing techniques and our digital capabilities.
Work closely with colleagues to adhere to and support a globally consistent MR story.
Leverage new channels, techniques and identify optimally effective marketing communications strategies to meet the marketing objectives for the businesses.
Act as a brand advocate to ensure adherence to the guidelines and spirit of the GE master brand strategy.
Align closely with finance, regulatory and legal to ensure compliance of all marketing communications materials
Use established global processes and offer suggestions for ongoing improvement of those processes.
Monitors and reports program success against established KPIs and ROI. Pivots as needed.
Supports integration of Public Relations and Internal GEHC Communications into planning as appropriate by working with peers in those functions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or Business Administration OR 3 – 5 years of experience in advertising or marketing communications at an agency/corporation
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Desired Characteristics
Three to five years of experience in marketing communications, advertising or a related communications field
Integrated Marketing Communications skills and project management capabilities
Content marketing experience
Demonstrated inclusive, collaborative and team-player attitudes and behaviors.
Analytical and process skills
Healthcare (preferably medical device) product experience and industry acumen
Knowledge of Imaging/Radiology product categories offerings, and commercial processes
Experience with digital media and marketing practices
