Job Description :	Lab Tech II-Maplewood 24+ mths-$22.90 hr. Volt Technical Resources is seeking a Lab Tech II for a well-known manufacturer in their Maplewood Facility. Job Description Summary Prepare routine and novel samples for analysis via SEM and AFM analysis using ultramicrotomy, ion milling, and other conventional techniques.Operating SEM and AFM and collecting data.Complete basic image processing and data analysis.Support product development engineers through physical property and optical testing/characterization, sample prep. Preferred Qualifications (Would like to have): Associates degree with 2 years lab experience in position similar to REQ ORBachelor of Science degree (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or related discipline)-PreferredKnowledge of, and experience with high resolution SEM imaging of a wide variety of materials (ex. metals, silicon, polymers).Knowledge of, and experience operating the AFM, optimizing scans for non-routine samples, and comfortable with routine maintenance.
