Job Description : | The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for communication to Rays fans and ticket buyers done through email and website communications from concept to execution and analysis. A successful candidate will be a forward-thinker, who can amplify Rays emails and website presence.Duties may include but are not limited to:Assist Marketing Director with digital marketing annual strategic planning, developing objectives across multiple business functions including marketing, ticket operations and community relations.Oversee and execute email marketing strategy including but not limited to segmenting, copywriting, building, proofing, deploying and reporting on team email content.Work closely with the business analytics team and within the organization’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) to manage multiple subscriber databases and segment audiences for targeted email campaigns.Support the Rays overall CRM vision via database expansion, mining and lead generation.Implement A/B testing in an effort to optimize open, click & conversion rates.Assist with performance marketing omnichannel campaigns.Set up automated and segmented email customer journeys.In partnership with the analytics team, analyze email metrics to suggest best practices to optimize goals, including fan engagement, personalization, driving revenue, subscriber growth, and overall ROI.Responsible for researching and developing new content for emails and keeping up with the latest trends, tools and tactics.Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure website updates and email communication needs are met in a timely manner.Create and maintain landing pages and forms for raysbaseball.com, in collaboration with MLB Digital Producer.Serve as a member of the internal Ballpark App development team contributing ideas of app layout, fan experience amplifications and ease of app use.Collaborate with MLB resources to keep raysbeisbol.com (Spanish language website) up to date.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university4+ years in digital marketing with an emphasis on email marketing and analyticsStrong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making are requiredStrong writing and editing experienceStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to evaluate data, determine trends, find opportunities and make recommendationsKnowledge of Adobe AnalyticsBasic Photoshop skillsIterable knowledge is a plusStrong attention to detail requiredHTML coding skills are a plusWorking understanding of baseballAll offers contingent on a satisfactory background checkAll applicants for employment are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencing employment.
