Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for using marketing and site analytics data to drive business results. Internal and external information is used to identify quantifiable and actionable opportunities for the Personal Insurance Direct Markets team. Role is responsible for architecting solutions, building reports, monitoring and analyzing results, and communicating information to marketing & web operations managers and Direct Markets marketing leadership.
This role can be 100% remote or Hybrid model in the office.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with marketing team, analytics, IT, and leadership to develop a multi-year roadmap for marketing technology needs that support the growth the direct to consumer organization. Inclusive of understanding industry specific challenges, regulations, big-tech strategies, marketing channel specific needs, etc.
Partner with multiple business and IT organizations supporting the PI online quoting platform (Quick Quote) to ensure that marketing technologies are being accounted for within current and future development efforts
Partner with PI & Enterprise IT to understand the architectural strategy supporting front end tools and back end data relevant to the Direct Markets organization
Partner with Enterprise Integrated Marketing (EIM) and Enterprise Digital Enablement (DE) to ensure deeper synergies between PI and Enterprise marketing technology strategies and investments
Identify and analyze opportunities to improve Direct Markets’ Other Insurance Expense (OIE) to drive greater financial efficiency
Collaborate with Campaign Management / Ad Operations and Enterprise Data & Analytics to understand the current state tools and platforms that are in place within PI; Salesforce, DialogTech / Invoca, Google Analytics, Maxymiser, Tealium, etc.
Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline the data being leveraged by the direct to consumer platforms and overall organization
Collaborate with Enterprise and Personal Insurance Marketing, Data Engineering, Data Science, Direct Markets Circle Team, etc. to understand new predictive models. Anticipate how onboarding those processes will impact our data warehouse and the evaluation of the business
Allocate a portion of capacity to supporting the digital marketing team. Create reports, extracts, dashboards, etc. that help media managers or leadership understand the quote and sale activity being driven by media investments
Analyze impression, quote and sales data to improve the financial performance of Direct Markets’ acquisition (i.e., marketing & Telesales) spend
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and 3 years analytics experience required.
Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, computer science, statistics, MIS or equivalent experience preferred.
Typically has a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Descriptive Analytics or related field.
4+ years working successfully with Microsoft office products and software/programming applications specific to business supported.
Working knowledge of tools such as SAS, R, SQL preferred.
General knowledge of Descriptive Analytic practices and processes. General knowledge of insurance products/concepts required.
Previous experience leading others preferred.
General knowledge of the main features of the collection of data and the relationship of data elements to each other.
Prior experience with Google BigQuery, Snowflake or other equivalent cloud technologies preferred
Experience using Google Analytics to monitor and measure site analytics preferred
Prior experience using Tealium product suite (e.g., iQ, AudienceStream, EventStream, etc.) preferred
