Job Description : Appcast is seeking its first dedicated Manager, Search Marketing (SEO/SEM) to join its growing marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee all strategy, planning, and execution for paid search and SEO initiatives. You will be responsible for influencing the search visitor traffic to our website and have a direct impact on bottom-line demand generation results.You’ll be the expert on our team on paid search helping drive the strategy and growth of the channel. You will also be responsible for all things SEO: content strategy, technical, on-page, off-page, keyword strategy, as well as analytics & reporting.You will work closely with our demand generation and content development teams to ensure our digital content improves our presence on search, elevates our brand identity, and delivers high volumes of leads to support our sales organization.Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for creating, optimizing, and managing SEM campaigns across multiple countries and for multiple productsPerform daily platform management of the paid search accounts on Google Ads and Microsoft AdvertisingMonitor paid search performance to identify key trends and recommend optimizations to drive account improvementDevelop the A/B testing strategy for paid search campaigns ensuring measurable outcomes that drive higher account performanceCollaborate with an external digital agency on strategies for channel growth and tactics to drive efficiencyDevelop and implement effective SEO / keyword strategies across all Appcast marketing digital properties (WordPress & HubSpot); lead approach in three key areas: technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEOEducate the broader Marketing team on SEO and SEM strategies and how their efforts/workstreams impact search trafficResearch and report relevant search engine keywords and trends; partner with Demand Generation and Content Marketing to guide the development, execution, and measurement of content strategyConsistently identify ways to measurably improve SEO for Appcast’s marketing websiteEnsure keyword consistency and optimization across various channelsSupport website and blog performance data and analytics; ensure accuracy, knowledge-sharing, and success metric growthBuild and execute on a backlinking strategy to drive quality referral traffic to our site and improve our domain authorityRequired Skills and Experience· 3+ years in SEM, including campaign creation, optimization and analysis· Experience using search, display, and social advertising platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads and Twitter· Proven experience as SEO and SEM Specialist, or similar role· Deep knowledge of SEM best practices, campaign management, and ROI measurement· Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices required, experience with SEO attribution reporting· Familiarity with relevant tools (Yoast, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, Google Optimize, Moz) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SEM Rush)· Experience with the Google suite, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, GA Editor· Working knowledge of SEO copywriting· Strong organization and leadership skills· Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude· Experience managing complex cross-functional, technical projects· Ability to be flexible and shift priorities as required by changing project landscapeWhy Appcast?
