Job Description : Marketing Analyst – (22000014) Description – The Marketing Analyst is responsible for various marketing and communications responsibilities, including the development and coordination of both internal and external communications across channels. COMPETENCIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE MARKETING ANALYST Business Acumen: Participates in the communications team goal setting and planning, including content and media planning by audience and channel. Documents existing internal and external communications processes. Supports ongoing communications activities, including: internal executive messaging, newsletters, and intranet; policyholder printed and digital communications; agent newsletter and digital communications; and external marketing, PR, trade and consumer advertising. Develops content for both existing and newly proposed communications, across all channels. Reviews and recommends social media tactics to promote the company and its values (including leveraging hashtags, sharing strategies and more), as well as developing and managing social media activity in real time. Consistently updates the corporate public website with customer and agent content, while employing various Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to increase visitors and users. Manages the content calendar for effective cadence of messages across audiences and channels through the year. Negotiation: Ability to effectively negotiate with other areas of the company and vendors to deliver effective communications on an enterprise level. Manages specific vendor relationships as assigned. Results Oriented: Focused on improving website visits and usage, social media effectiveness and internal communications readership result. Time & Priority Management: Effectively prioritizes assigned projects based on corporate and management goals. Creates plans and schedules successfully complete projects in a timely fashion. Decision Making: Autonomously determines approach and next steps on assigned projects. Where appropriate, presents choices to management on preferred direction or action, along with recommendation. Performs various projects requested or assigned by the Director of Customer Experience. Qualifications – QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MARKETING ANALYST Education/Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum of two years of communications experience, including social media and/or digital marketing. Technical/ Professional Knowledge: Content development Digital strategy Project management Exceptional communications skills, both oral and written Good coordination, organizing and planning skills Good project management skills Exceptional inter-personal skills Exceptional creative ability Good negotiation skills Good personal computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite JOB REQUIREMENTS (as required by ADA – Americans with Disabilities Act) This position is primarily a sedentary position that requires occasional standing and walking throughout the office environment. Must be able to see and effectively use a computer monitor. Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard and applicable printers and other general office equipment. Must be able to access and enter information accurately using automated systems. Must be able to hear and communicate via the telephone and/or monitoring devices to both internal and external clients. Must be able to present information to individuals and groups. Must be able to interpret and apply concepts that may or may not be based upon established guidelines. Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance and adhere to scheduled work hours.
