Job Description : | About Your Work Day The Chautauqua Opera Company & Conservatory summer season will consist of fully produced productions, workshops and ancillary events. We build our season around the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) Safety Guidelines in addition to following the guidelines of the CDC, IATSE, and USA. Coordination of all printed/electronic materials orders and development including: show posters, dramaturgical posters handouts, discount code postcards, program inserts, etc. Adapt show poster graphics to appropriate print and media dimensions using Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign, or other similar programs. Ensure all branded messaging including images, video, social media, and any other published media remains consistent and aesthetically in the Chautauqua Institution and Chautauqua Opera Company & Conservatory voice and image. Design, draft and print all electronic show program information using InDesign or another like program, following the brand style guide and template from previous seasons. Assist with with social media brainstorming and content publishing. Manage all print and digital media archives. Track ticket sales and data using SharePoint and in-house ticket reports. Manage all comp ticket and VIP ticket requests. Coordinates photo shoots, assists with special events and manages all digital marketing efforts including email, social and web. Interface and work with other Chautauqua Institution organizations as needed. May work on cross promotion with other organizations on the grounds. About Your Schedule Chautauqua Institution and Chautauqua Hotel Company offer flexible schedules, full and part-time, for seasonal employment during summer operations starting annually each June and concluding in August. Seasonal employment may be available earlier (pre-season) and beyond season (post-season) based on business needs and candidate availability. Schedules typically include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as a requirement. While you will confirm your final schedule with management at the time of an interview and offer of employment, you should generally anticipate the following schedule options for this position: The work schedule requires a full-time commitment with an average of 40-hours/week with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required and a willingness to flex up in schedule based on business needs. About Your Compensation Compensation for this position starts at $14/Hour and, with demonstrated experience and qualifications, candidates may earn up to $16.00/Hour. Chautauqua Opera Company & Conservatory provides a round-trip travel stipend. About Living on the Grounds Chautauqua Institution may provide limited housing options on our grounds or assist you with locating nearby housing arrangements for select opportunities based on business needs. Housing is not an option for many positions and may be of a cost to you. If the section below is incomplete, candidates should assume that this is no housing associated with this position. This position offers employer-provided housing and parking. Housing includes a private bedroom and shared living space; COVID restrictions and safety precautions in place. Residency starts in early June and ends on mid-to-late August.
