| Job Description : | We are looking for a passionate and creative Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. As an e-commerce company, our business thrives when our content stands out. This person will be responsible for creating and revising web content including titles, descriptions, blogs, social media content, and more. This person will work closely with our SEO Specialist who will provide keyword research and guidance on projects.ResponsibilitiesGenerate & edit product-specific copy used in various marketing assets: including promotional email campaigns, website blogs, social media campaigns, and new product roll-outs.Weekly optimization of all team-created social posts, website blogs, product listings, product guides, and other content marketing projects for SEO, brand voice/tone, and customer journey.Execute writing projects, meet deadlines, and follow content requirements in terms of style and project specifications.Proofread text and correct spelling, grammar, formatting, and punctuation errors.Work collaboratively with the marketing team to correct web errors.Create periodic content for social media and(or) promotional email marketing.Collaborate in the management of e-commerce strategy to grow revenue.Collaborate with team members to give a voice to social media efforts across all channels.Requirements/Skills1-2 years of experience in Content Writing preferredDemonstrate a talent for writing both long and short-form copyBachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or businessAbility to function well in a collaborative environmentAbility to prioritize & actively meet deadlinesMust have a strong background in content creation – specifically blogs, product listings, product guides, web content w/ an SEO focusMust have an intermediate understanding of current SEO principlesMust have an intermediate understanding of keywords and best practices for writing content optimized for SEO purposesProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteSome experience with email marketing.
