Position Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Operations to represent and ensure a strong company brand by overseeing marketing across all media platforms. This includes, but is not limited to social media, online websites, SEO, print collateral and event management in a fast-paced, professional environment. Assist and implement corporate and property marketing projects from concept to completion while effectively reporting successful results.
Essential Duties:
Work with Leadership and Property Management teams to execute corporate and property marketing needs including print, online, social media applications and events.
Accountable for the upkeep and content of the ACC website.
Work with photographers to produce high quality, professional photos for properties managed by ACC.
Utilize marketing and social media management skills to ensure a strong online and social media presence contributing to overall brand site strategy and contribute to brand growth.
Build, manage and refine online marketing and social media accounts for the corporate office and properties as needed.
Research and document industry trends and general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
Articulate clear, concise, and impactful content for social media and other website posts and well as print collateral, maintaining professional and strong brand identity.
Present a strong design sense and understanding of what kind of visuals or design elements are well suited for all platforms.
Acquire, grow, and nurture the correct audience and create excellent end-user experiences.
Strong focus on community outreach, content development, customer service and sales-driving social campaigns, promotions, and activities.
Understand social media and other online marketing tools and determine what would be most appropriate based on needs.
Strong understanding of technology especially data management and analytics to improve content and increase exposure as well as leads.
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced and ever-evolving online climate that requires agility and enthusiasm to adapt to new developments.
Works well with collaborations and possesses skills to plan, schedule and implement timely online posts and relevant campaigns.
Possess the ability to engage audiences across all platforms.
Measure effectiveness of tools by tracking clicks, likes, comments, shares, profile visits, active followers, etc. and submit performance reports as needed.
Produce impactful ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
Create a regular schedule and implement it through an editorial calendar to plan, manage and promote specific, timely marketing campaigns.
Create brand awareness and ensure a strong online reputation through constant engagement and well-planned, timely, accurate and platform-relevant updates across all platforms.
All other duties as assigned.
. Requirements:
Knowledge, Skill & Ability Requirements:
Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic team environment with minimal supervision.
Organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and set priorities.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing to include expertise in consumer marketing, brand management, communications, outreach, online marketing, and social media.
Demonstrated ability to strategize, conceptualize, and develop innovative marketing tactics that drive foot traffic and build brand awareness.
Proven results in executing social and digital marketing campaigns and delivering creative ideas that position a brand for success.
Ability to demonstrate big-picture thinking and experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Proficiency with computer software applications including MS Office suite.
Experience using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
Maintain valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and respect with others.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position will be based at our corporate office in Oshkosh, WI which operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers & fax machines, filing cabinets/etc. Remote possibilities may be considered.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to physically stand, walk, bend, climb, and use full hand range of motion and finger dexterity to touch and feel. Must be able to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and as needed.
Travel:
Some travel is expected on a routine basis to properties and events as needed.
