To support our Agency + Ad Tech Industry Marketing Team, we are seeking a content marketer to develop and scale (through digital channels) best-in-class, insight-led stories that connect our narrative on Amazon Ads and Ad Tech solutions for key customer personas who decide which Ad Tech solutions go into their company’s marketing technology stack. These customers actively look for new products and services to flex with shifts in advertising identity, in order to increase reach, engagement, and efficiencies across channels. This person will partner closely with sales enablement experts on the Agency + Ad Tech Marketing team to understand their marketing content/insight roadmaps. This person will pull out digestible insights/nuggets from existing materials or commission new insights that make for compelling, editorial stories aligned to those roadmaps.

This person will produce stories that will be scaled across digital channels (such as our website, blogs, virtual events/webinars, emails, YouTube, and social) and various formats (e.g., blog posts, keynotes, whitepapers, etc.). Additionally, this person is a creative B2B insights driven storyteller that can simplify the complex narrative of ad tech solutions and the vast array of digital advertising solutions, for various media agency personas.

The right candidate is customer obsessed and metrics-driven, using audience insights and learnings from each piece of content to make the next more impactful. This person juggles multiple priorities, while delivering to a relentlessly high standard of quality. Since this is a new function, this role also offers the opportunity for the right candidate to be entrepreneurial, charting their own vision for how this role can best help customers.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and scale content that surfaces audience insights, and positions our products as solutions to Agency AdTech decision makers
Develop strategic content and a channel roadmap for Amazon Ads to increase awareness, consideration, comprehension, and relevance amongst agency AdTech decision makers
Create binge-able content across digital channels including blogs, industry landing pages, virtual events/webinars, emails, YouTube, social media, and more
Tell stories that challenge, inspire, engage, and drive action
Partner with channel experts to test new approaches; constantly optimize content to drive better results
Work cross-functionally with industry-specific sales enablement experts, channel marketing, product marketing, insights, PR, and legal to deliver against content priorities
MBA preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong storyteller who creates compelling, customer-obsessed materials
Proven content development and strategy experience across multiple formats (e.g. written, video) and digital channels (e.g. blogs, webinars, social, landing pages)
Fluent in the digital advertising landscape
Experience working with or at a media agency
Knowledgeable in industry privacy changes
Cross-functional experience across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, PR, Legal, Training, and Research
Entrepreneurial spirit/ability to work autonomously in an ambiguous environment with minimal direction
Ability to make ruthless prioritization decisions in a complex, fast-paced environment with limited resources
Own creative input, development, and execution from concept to completion
Confident leading walk throughs of materials and fielding questions
Fanatical attention to detail
Previous B2B digital content marketing experience
Global marketing experience
