We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Senior Digital Marketing Manager. This role demands a detail-oriented individual to work across our full portfolio of brands. This role reports to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing Strategy, serves as a key team member on the digital strategy team, and will be the voice at the table for their brands. This person will drive the in-platform (social, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) paid media strategy, optimization and overall campaign management for their brands with a focus on paid video. This role requires strong platform knowledge to develop strategic and creative recommendations, flawless execution of initiatives to reach brand objectives, confidence to debate budget allocations across the paid media team and when presenting to key groups, a collaborative spirit to coordinate across departments/business units and a mindset of continuous improvement through testing and learning to ensure continued growth across the company.
Job Description
Your Wonderful Purpose:
Meet with Marketing to understand underlying business objectives and set media KPIs
Contribute to brainstorming and cross department planning
Determine budgets, targeting, timing and other elements of digital campaign planning
Develop and manage digital marketing plans across relevant channels (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)
Present plans to internal constituents and Marketing
Manage timelines for planning and coordinate with Marketing, Project Management and Creative for asset delivery
Communicate any needs with Ad Ops or other specialists (for tagging, email, optimization set up)
Ensure best practices when building and QAing campaigns
Optimize campaigns and test strategies to drive performance and learnings
Analyze and report on campaign results
Track all spending and validate media partner invoices
Problem solve with our media vendor platforms
Keep the team abreast of changes to social platform offerings and functionality, with a strong eye to how they impact paid/amplification opportunities
Proactively research the latest digital trends that affect digital marketing, attend industry seminars
Assist team leader with cross-team education
Actively contribute to the development of the agency’s culture and standards of quality
Contribute to continuous improvement of the team and our best practices
Qualifications
The Wonderful You:
5+ years in similar role within an agency or brand environment
Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Marketing, Communications or Business
Proven understanding of how to plan, develop, execute and optimize paid digital campaigns using social platforms, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.,
Active usage and native understanding of the mentioned digital platforms
Strong understanding of Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords (video and search) and social media management platforms like Hootsuite, Salesforce Social Studio, Sprinklr, etc.
Experience with campaigns builds on other platforms, such as Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, Snap, LinkedIn, etc.
Experience with GA/GTM for campaign optimization/tracking
Past use of testing/measurement on the platforms
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with demonstrable ability to articulate and persuasively sell strategic concepts within agency and directly to clients
Knowledge of organic platform, especially as they relate to paid amplification
Dependability, flexibility and resourcefulness
Sense of ownership and responsibility for your brands
Dedication to the details
Passion for continued learning and improvement
Hands-on experience with GTM and Google Analytics a plus
Understanding of community management/social listening and aligned tools (e.g. Brandwatch) a plus
Facebook Blueprint and other social certification a plus
Knowledge of SEM/SEO and Email a plus
COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
