We host over 3,000 client websites and are always looking to help our clients grow their business by improving their organic search presence and onsite conversions. In this role, you will audit our clients websites, develop content plans, and write B2C marketing copy designed to both entice users to book our clients tours and drive organic traffic. You will work with a wide variety of clients in the tourism industry, ensuring every day is a little different than the last and you have plenty of opportunity to hone your skills. A little more about this role FareHarbor’s business model requires that users utilize our software to book online. For this reason it is in FareHarbor’s best interest that our clients have websites that are easy to find, easy to navigate and that drive online conversions. With this interest in mind, FareHarbor offers free websites to our qualified clients to help improve their web presence and online bookings. As an SEO Copywriter, you will work hand in hand with our Project Coordinators, Website Optimization Specialists, and SEO Strategists to hit deadlines, write and update website content, and proactively target sites that have high conversion opportunities. This role will work with clients to nurture, grow and report on by communicating and making changes that conform to modern and strategic SEO best practices. To be successful in this role you should have strong copywriting skills and knowledge of SEO best practices. You will be working on multiple projects at one time and should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and self start. This is a full time, on-site position in our Denver office but is remote for the time being. Responsibilities: Write and edit engaging content that encourages end users to book a tour and is optimized for search Proofread and edit the work of others for accuracy, structure, and SEO potential Conduct SEO Audits of clients websites and provide recommendations for content and keyword strategy Perform keyword research, local audits and competitive analysis Track, report, and analyze the impact of SEO recommendations and content optimizations Collaborate with Account Managers and Client Stakeholders on SEO content strategies Communicate with clients through meetings, email, and tickets Keep up to date with algorithm updates, content and SEO trends to keep our clients in the coveted ranking positions Serve as the content expert/advocate within FareHarbor, sharing your knowledge with the FareHarbor sites team, Account Managers, FareHarbor Sites product team and more Follow any specific instructions provided by Project Coordinators and work with them to hit agreed upon deadlines and milestones for each project. Be an authority on our in-house developed WordPress theme and understand it’s limitations and restrictions (training will be provided for this) Stay up to date with SEO, website and content best practices and trends and implement when necessary Work with the Product team to give feedback on features that already exist and ones that should be created. Competencies 1+ years in a digital marketing, copywriting or SEO role Recommended experience working with Excel, SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, MOZ Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems Ability to work within a team and independently Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills Have the desire to improve and grow within the organization.
