Then this internship is for you!About this position: Oigetit is looking for a strong SEO Specialist Intern who will take our SEO program to the next level. In this role, you will identify growth opportunities, both in our existing content as well as in new categories. Your SEO skills will drive growth and engagement in search, social and subscriber-based inbound channels. You’ll utilize competitive and content gap analysis to identify effective strategies and opportunities for new growth. You’ll create outlines for long-form content with SEO best practices at the core of all of your recommendations. You’ll own and closely monitor performance metrics to understand what’s working.As an SEO team member, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our famous CEO to build and deploy a successful SEO strategy.Responsibilities: Work with the editorial team to build an SEO strategy, including helping to further develop our global brand, voice, and styleImprove search engine results for keywords to increase web and mobile trafficPerform competitive analysis and develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscapeWork alongside the web analytics team to manage and influence reporting dashboards. Monitor traffic, understand the impact of optimizations as well as external changes (algorithm updates, SERP changes, etc)Qualifications: 2 years minimum work experience in a previous company working in SEO, with a track record of successful SEO achievementExpertise in digital marketing, social media marketingUp-to-date on all the latest best practices, major algorithm updates, & SEO trendsExperience with SEO tools like AHREFs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Majestic, Moz, etc.Experience with analytics tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.Bonus: You’re experienced leading successful App Store Optimization and Conversion Rate Optimization programsAbout the Founders & CEO: You will have a unique opportunity to work with Franklin Urteaga, the Founder & CEO of Oigetit Fake News Filter.
