Assistant Director – Social Media Strategist & Graphic Designer Summary: EY is looking for a seasoned social media practitioner to work cross-functionally across Brand, Marketing and Communications to drive strategic social campaigns for the firm. In this unique role, the highly creative individual has expertise in social media management and graphic design, with a keen understanding of how audiences consume content across multiple platforms. The candidate will work with various stakeholders and interface with agency partners to atomize existing content, create highly engaging campaigns that elevate the EY brand and support our business objectives. Success in this role will be defined by: Promoting “One EY” through clear, unified messaging that positions the firm as a trusted business advisor and employer of choice. Moving social media beyond the “likes” and contributing to profitable growth by amplifying market plans that increase awareness, consideration and preference for EY. Ground all external communications in owned content, leaning on messaging that exists to amplify our unique point of view. The ability to multi-task and successfully satisfy competing demands of high performing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions: Own creative execution for all content, using data to test and learn while maintaining brand standards Complete social content ownership – Organize, craft and publish engaging content for monthly, campaigns, and ad-hoc content. Use data to drive decisions, test and learn to better understand audience preferences Develop platform specific strategies for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter Work in tandem with the paid social media team to create holistic campaigns Align adequate measurement processes to all KPIs Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications Mentor junior associates Knowledge, Competency and Skill Requirements: Proven tenure as a B2B social media manager with a deep understanding of communications and digital marketing Graphic design – Photoshop, InDesign, File Cut Pro Google Analytics Marketo Adobe Analytics Sprinklr or an equivalent platform Paid social media execution Solid knowledge of SEO and keyword research Excellent copywriting skills Ability to guide stakeholders on social media best practices A self-starter with a “can do” attitude and enthusiasm to work through ambiguity and a matrix structure; demonstrates the potential to develop within the organization Cultural awareness and sensitivity, as this role will involve daily interaction with varied regions and countries Initiative, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to manage several projects concurrently; excellent time management and organizational skills and results oriented A self-starter, strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently 7-10 years working in social media, marketing and or communications.
